SUPREME COURT: JUSTICE SCALIA DEATH AND SCOTUS CHANGES
You love to hate it, admit it.
Reply
I'm sure the Supreme court will rule in the best way even though Kavenaugh is in the lineup. I understand the Dems are pissed and ya know what? Who cares. Try and dick around and slander the process by bringing up stuff that could have easily been brought out over a month ago, this is what you get. But becoming an angry mob over it is just about as stupid as it gets. Geez we are going into an election that the Dems were thought of as the favorites then turn around and with the media tell the base to become an angry mob of idiots clawing at walls and climbing statues and becoming violent with current politicians is really no way to win an election. No matter what the imagined reality is it just looks really stupid to John Q. Public.

I’m enthrallled with it all. I’ve never seen anything like it. It often reminds me of a documentary that Cracker recommended, It was called the Wild & Wonderful Whites, or something similar. The trumps are the Whites only better dressed and slightly more educated. They are basically white trash.

Peaceful? In Charllotsville were the Anti-Fa assholes peacefull? During the Supreme court hearings were they "peacefull"  was the angry mob that chased Sarah Huckabee out of a resturaunt "peaceful" What about the "peacefull" road blockades that stopped commuters in the morning. How about when the parks were highjacked and the other idiots trashed the place. Did the Tea party people trash any sites during a rally? There are plenty more examples. The weird thing is only tickets from senators were allowed in the hearings. Where did they get the tickets? I'm just a bit amazed that these "peaceful" protests  don't turn into a riot and it's still just a mob.

I know, everyone is enthralled with it which was my point. I'm not saying you, but I know people who throw out anything they would normally think rational based on nothing but what side they are on. It's not a good thing and it's probally at it's worst now than ever.

people try and say that the nation has never been this polorized but it has plenty of times during WWI & II during prohibition, during Lyndon Johnsons Presidency during the depression even when FDR was President. It happens and everything works out the pubs make the money and the Dems spend it.

Oh please. A girl was murdered in Charlottesville. That hayseed Sarah Slanders was shunned because of who she is as a human being and I hope people don’t forget when she leaves. Shun her. I don’t know much of anything about the Tea Party other than they are another group of fruit cakes. I don’t know anything about the tickets you’re talking about either. You don’t like peaceful protests, not even a little bit.

Democrats always have to clean up the mess that Republicans made. Want some examples? Smiley_emoticons_smile

Meanwhile a flat tax would be the most sensible along with universal health care and all convicted pedos locked away from society. But that wont happen because we love it the way it is and it entertains us.

Heh.

Chief Justice John Roberts is referring complaints about statements made by new Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to federal judges outside the Beltway.

I made sure to find a "news" source you freaks would respect.

I think universal healthcare will likely happen with the next Democratic President.

There are so many Republicans who were outraged by what had been branded "Obamacare" when FOX news + conservative radio told them it was "the path to Socialism taking over America".

Then, when Congress actually tried to repeal Obamacare, per Trump's campaign pledge, Republican citizens across the country realized that the policies they had secured under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)  were actually "Obamacare".  And, Trump realized that 'healthcare is so complicated".

Some of those Republican citizens joined Democrats and Independents in protesting and pushing hard on the administration and their elected state representatives not to repeal it.  So, ACA/Obamacare lives and millions of people continue to have health insurance they couldn't otherwise afford, though it's still too expensive.

In the meantime, Medicare for All has gained conceptual popularity across party lines with a majority of Americans now supporting it.  I can see it becoming a reality in the not-too-distant future.  I hope so anyway.  I think basic healthcare should be a right in the U.S. and I don't think it should be tied to employers.

No he doesn't, he's just getting in on the charade like everyone else. This shit is like an addictive soap opera to you people, you have some kind of sick relationship with it as embarrassing as it is. You get off on it and the elite know and control you with it.

Not true at all, but again, you are free to make it up as you go along (https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/addi...-effects#1) and I will not stop you.

Having said that. I am as a matter of clarity I am slightly Left of Centre. There used to be not a lot between my views and the Mainstream Liberal Left. But that was a long time ago. These days the Mainstream Left is way further left, and where in days gone past, we would shake our collective heads at the radical extreme leftists. The typical person on the Left is not a moderate and not close to centre. I never liked the Authoritarianism on the Right and them going into cultural spaces and trying to censor and invoke religious standards as the default onto everything and such. I dislike it now that it is on the other side. I don't much give a damn which the offending party is.

I DO support Trump. I DO think he is pushing hard against the extremism on the Left that has become increasingly destructive in the last 6-7 years (I remember Atheism Plus and Elevatorgate and Gamergate) and this is not their final form. Giving the world a strong example that is not Progressive Merkel or Obama is necessarily a good thing.

I think the history books will be kind to him. I think that the Authoritarian Left has to be bought to heel and if that means a little pain and humiliation to let go of their poisonous ideology, I am fine with that and better still if it is by Trump. Trump is a cult of Personality in a lot of ways. In 6 years he will leave the Presidency and even if there is another Conservative leader, they will not be Trump and the party of Trump will not be the party of the next President.

I was interested in this for a long time and hardly just jumping onboard. I did like aspects of Obama. I mean he was the benchmark of charm, poise, grace and articulation. The fact that he was otherwise a terrible President was something I was aware of but simply accepted he would not be in forever. Trump is his opposite in all these respects.
