Good deed of the day (or year)
#1
Today I went to the D.M.V. to register a few company trucks and I walk in and pick out 4 heroin addicts right away. One lady was scratching herself every 10 seconds, another one was leaning against the wall like rolling around and doing stupid shit. another one looked about 50 and had sores all up one side of his face and was scratching his outer arms for no particular reason all the time and the other one just got done doing their stuff and was slurring words and talking a mile a minute.
It was like I stepped off the wrong floor and into a methadone clinic. I finally was in line and as I walked past one chick I asked if she was OK and could I help. She says, no thanks, no thanks, no thanks, no thanks a bunch of times and my number was called.
I walk up do my thing and says, "is this crap normal" to the girl and she says " only for the past few weeks"
So I leave and go to the Red Cross blood place ( They bug me all year because I have ON blood) and tell the girl there about it. She has a sister that deals with the addict assholes and I asked if she could send me 50 or so business cards with the clinic on them so if it happens again I can just give that out................
So I'm getting cards for the meth clinic in the mail and I bet I get a ton of questions when they come in.

There my good deed of the year is done and I can go off and perform debauchery again. Thank you for your time. hah

Heroin and meth are different drugs. The people with sores are met heads.

Yeah those sound more like tweakers. Still good you offered to bring clinic cards but methadone ain't gonna help that crowd. Wrong kind of meth.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

There is no heroin in Tasmania because it's an island. I wonder if you have none in Hawaii too? I was shocked to learn there was no heroin here, but apparently there is an ICE or meth epidemic.

I'm not as hip as you and ramseykittens on the various drugs and crap these freaks put into their system so you'll have to excuse me for not specifying which type and the symptoms of each drug specifically.
To me they are all junkies performing involuntary tricks for the masses. I just feel sorry for the lot of them.

Heroin addicts itch themselves like crazy and meth heads have the sores on their face and rotten teeth so maybe some were heroin addicts and some were meth addicts. Who gives a shit. Methadone can be used to treat both of them, but it doesn't work. It just keeps them useless, unproductive pieces of shit forever. They have to be locked up somewhere and forced to quit cold turkey.

I know an addict, she's been clean for around 20 years now. She once told me that getting off the shit was easier than quitting smoking.

It is a whole underbelly of another world. I thought I had seen it all until I worked in this particular area for a period of time. It is not visible in society to how full-on and intense the scene and presence of it in our society actual is. It's really well hidden, in the shadows believe me.

I can say without hesitation every one of you knows an addict (and no, I don't mean me you assholes). Drugs are called addictive for a reason, they will grab you by the tits and drag you down. Every one of those armscratching, facepicking horror shows that made Maggot so squirmy were normal people once. People tend to forget that once the drug of choice does its destructive duty.

I once posted some pix, I think they were called the faces of meth and the downfall was dramatic. It should have been enough to scare anyone off the thought of doing hardcore drugs but it's not.

To them giving up the drug of choice is like a normal person giving up sex. That's why I think BH doesn't have an addictive personality.
