SAD MAD
#41
I am so glad I'm a godless heathen. I cannot imagine deliberately choosing to remain miserable because an imaginary man told me to. Fuck that. Life is way too short to waste on assholes.

At least that's what all my exes keep telling me.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

That made me chuckle.

Aussie, your cup size again?

It's more than you can handle Honey!

An imaginary man didn't tell them anything. A priest did.
As a Christian myself, I find it just as stupid as you do.

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time broad. Did your husband evolve into an asshole or has he always been and you just didn't notice before? If I missed something I apologize, but I didn't see anything explaining why you think he's an asshat.

Sheesh my life sounds boring as hell. hah

People take a lot of joy from their children, I think it must be hard work to raise a decent, productive individual. I don't view that as boring.

I used to think it looked like a lot of fun until some Mockers shared stories of their teenagers and then it sounded like worry & heartache.

I should probably apologize in case board thought I was saying she herself was stupid.
I don't think that at all. I know plenty of people in loveless marriages stuck together because of the church. If you were raised in the Catholic church (assuming) all your life, then that's all you know. It's understandable.
I know if you got a divorce, God would forgive you. The church won't. Very sad.

Do you have interests outside of your kids, things that you do for yourself, things that bring you joy? Maybe my questions should be in the NOSY QUESTIONS thread. What's a typical day like for you? Does your husband know how unhappy you are?

In a bizarre way I kinda admire your attitude. I don't think I could be so selfless that I'd put the church or any person before my own happiness.

Go out to a concert, get drunk, smoke weed, play some pool and poker, go to an amusement park, strip club....Grab life by the pussy and don't let go!

Seriously though, I can relate. When I was a regular Church attendee(2 plus years ago) my life was all about choir, being a Eucharistic Minister, saying the Rosary, and being a member of the Knights of Columbus and boring as Hell.

If you even have the slightest thought that you will vote for Trump you become one of the devils disciples in today's environment. This is the meme that the cool kids repeat, rinse. repeat, rinse. Blowing-kisses

Do you drink coffee all day long? I know someone who does and I'm always surprised her hair isn't standing on end. If I did that I'd be so jacked up, I'd be bouncing off walls.

I have about 2 or 3 solo cups full in the morning but by 9am I'm done. Sometimes I have an ice coffee when I get home.
Winter is coming and the baileys irish cream is important.

The imaginary man I refer to is the church sponsored God. The priest is a man who is worse than me because he lies to himself about his weaknesses and desires. If he cannot face his own demons how should I respect him to help me with mine?

Divorce is never easy. I'm Catholic and it can be difficult at times. Don't know where I would be without my faith. I would recommend counseling.
