I only had time to listen until he was talking about the tests, will listen to the rest later. He was right about the tests, however. If you can wait in line for a test than you're not sick and you won't get the test results back for a week because there are thousands of other people needlessly doing the same thing. And how many of those people who are asymptomatic are quarantining until the test come back, probably not many. If you truly are sick, however, and need to go to the hospital with real symptoms, your test will be high priority and you'll get it back within a couple of hours. It's hard to pump out tests quickly and accurately when masses of people are getting tested for no good reason.

I did, I dont see thousands upon thousands of idiots lining up to be tested when they dont have symptoms like what we have here. We have fairgrounds open here for testing, you're not sick if you can wait in line for hours to be tested. To expect your test results to come back in minutes like the labs are magic is pretty silly.

The testing in the United States has been terribly mismanaged from the get go and it still is. It should have begun months ago but time was wasted by denying it was a thing and then calling it a hoax, etc. I don't think you can expect people to isolate for days or weeks waiting for their results. We need a national plan but we aren't going to get one with this administration. I think we'll still be sitting here exactly like this a year from now.

Yes, when you are truly sick you go to a doctor or urgent care or ER. You dont wait in line at a testing site. When is the last time you were very sick and didn't go to the er or doctor, but instead had time to wait in line in 107 degree heat like it was Disney world?

All these people waiting at tests sites are either hoping they are one of the lucky asymptomatic people or just scared out of their minds and total fucking idiots because they have a stuffy nose or something. I've had the regular flu before and tried to make it out of the driveway to drive myself to the ER and couldn't make it. There is no way I could wait in line in 107 degree heat.
