Oh gosh, I'm going to have to watch this now. That is long.
Duchess have you watched the Movie "Into the Wild" about Chris McCandeles?

I had a bee sting-or probaby a hornet, LOL I never saw what stung me but it itched so bad! (This happened on a hike) I kept reaching down to scratch it and ended up losing my footing and cut my knee on a very sharp rock.
I walked all the way back to the village which was about 3 miles.
I had to have the cut stched up, and that was mild compared to the constant tchng of the bee stng-whch they gave me antiseptic for.

I love watching and reading PCT blogs-especially when they get to the part about going through the village or through Stehekin. The only reason they came to the vllage was because of a re-route due to fires.
And then people started going to Stehekin to pick up supplies, get a shower and a meal.
When I worked on the boat we transported their supply boxes, by the end of the summer the mail courier had counted over a couple thousand. I can't remember the final #.
I don't know if I have a desire to do such a hike for a long period of time-but I love the stories from those that have.

It is a sad story. Depressing. But watchng the movie is pretty insightful.

Ths video is awesome! I love the views. It is amazing. Minus the walking in the rain and over the rocks. She is a good video blogger.

Violets are blue,
A perfume is lovely,
And so are you.

Orchids are white,
Ghost ones are rare,
The horse is grey,
And so is your hair.

Magnolia grows,
With buds like eggs,
The hand is hairy,
And so are your legs.

Sunflowers reach,
Up to the skies,
Corpuscles are red,
And so are your eyes.

Foxgloves in hedges,
Surround the farms,
Lips are flabby,
And so are your arms.

Daisies are pretty,
Daffies have style,
Plants are green,
And so is your smile.

A poop is beautiful,
Just like you.
*literal tears of joy*

Yes I'd do that. My 2 brother's took kayaking and archery in college and didn't tell me until the class was full. I ended up taking boring ass volleyball and badminton.
