Both involve pulling a trailer behind my side by side. 1 Would involve flying a flag at 12 mast and having the girls all dress in black and have my Gson dress in uniform saluting the flag. On the front of the trailer would be a tombstone. Idea 2 is build a wall across the center of the trailer and dress my OL up as Big D on one side of the wall and dress my Gson up as a Mexican on the other.
Thoughts

I like the second one the best, but both are great.

After not being able to do fireworks last year I have decided to go home where I can properly celebrate the 4th of July and my birthday shortly after. Last year I had to work on both and I was not happy about it. Although we did have a parade and pop bubble wrap as we watched fireworks on a big screen. I only need to experience that one time in my life.

Lovechild are you still up on the mountain?
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Oh honey, that's just kinda pitiful. I hope you have a great 4th this year with real fireworks and a damn good time on your birthday.

"Old Glory" is still out there flying, now with a "light" shining on it.

Flags fly here on the farm 24/7. One massive flag pole in front of the barn and a few much smaller ones throughout the property.

I'm going to try and make ribs and I don't have a single clue. I'm going to read about it today. It's a little unnerving seeing that meat with the ribs still attached. *shudders* I'm going to try not to think about that.

Skipped the BBQ today, but it will be on again for the 4th!

Tons of fireworks set off by some of the neighbor last night, surely again tonight, and tomorrow night will be never ending! Yahoo!

Do people shoot guns at midnight on New Years Eve where y'all live?

I hope the fireworks around our neighborhood end soon. I was chilling at home Sunday and every time they set some fireworks off, Dad was like "Who's there? Who is knocking on our door?"

I'm glad I'm going out tonight and tomorrow.

In FL I know for sure they do, as I know a guy who had several leaks in the ceilings of his house in the living room, kitchen, and 4th bedroom, whenever it rained hard.

So he hired a "roofing Co." to come and fix his roof. After their inspection of the affected roof areas, they told him the leaks were caused by "bullet holes", from bullets that apparently came down from being shot up in the air and finally landed/lodged on/in his roof. I've dug bullets out of roofs when I was still a roofer. These looked like high power rifle bullets, probably cause by a carless hunter.

I wont shoot into the air on holidays. I shoot into the ground. In fact I had a couple noisy neighbors shooting off fireworks pretty late Saturday. So sunday morning before the sun came up I stepped out on the porch and cut loose with my AK47. 30 rounds as fast as I could pull the trigger into the ground. I think I got their attention because they shut down the fireworks shortly after dark yesterday. hahahahahaha

I hate the 4th of July, it drives my dogs nuts. It's not even so much the big firework show that the city does that lasts about 40 minutes, it's the dumb assholes that start setting them off days before and after the 4th. Get a goddamn life already.
