RE: No Weinstein thread yet? / HOLLYWOOD & ORGANIZATIONAL SEXUAL ABUSE ALLEGATIONS

I like that movie too. My favorite Spacey movie is 'Consenting Adults'. Too bad that the title is apparently just the opposite of how Spacey chose to conduct his personal life.

There have been allegations of sexual harassment against Jeremy Piven now too. I'm not surprised at all. When I still lived in Southern California and was a dating a businessman in the entertainment industry, Piven was already on the BEWARE list for serious women. I like him a lot as an actor. BUT, if he's the misognystic piece of shit he was portrayed to be by insiders over 20 years ago, fuck him. Time's up.

I also really like John Cusack as an actor. He was Piven's best friend and was on the BEWARE AT ALL COSTS list way back when. I hope the rumors about his really fucked-up debasement of women aren't true. But, I won't be at all surprised if he's next.

Mock is part of the real world, to me. Not a bunch of random strangers on the comments section of an internet article.

I don't think you or anyone here is a douchebag. I do think it's narrow-minded dipshittery to constantly suggest that all female victims of famous people are groupies or that they signed up for it to get something in return. Or to suggest that being gay makes boys/men targets who aren't as true of victims as other boys/men. Or to suggest that men who speak out strongly against sexual harassment are not masculine. Or to label black people who take to the streets to protest police brutality and racism as thugs, while also regarding high-profile black people who instead do it silently as equally worthless, etc........ Running themes.

They're all people, no less than you or I. Some are generally big assholes. And some are generally decent people who make valid points.........if you actually listen to what they're saying. Even when it's worded casually or politely, it sometimes does get really discouraging hearing people and the issues they're addressing being looked down on all the time unless they're straight, white, gun-owning, politically conservative men (many of whom are generally decent people who make valid points too, in my experience, while some are generally big assholes).

Anyway, that constant minimization of millions of people comes across as hateful to me and sometimes deserves to be called out, in my opinion. But, I'll give it a rest. I don't want to come across as a mean hateful bitch when that's not reflective of where I'm coming from.

I agree that there are plenty of mean white gun totting people in the world, I do not think its an overwhelming majority though. Just as I believe that there are racist black, brown, yellow. I believe they are also in the minority. I do refuse to take responsibility for other peoples actions and I being a white, Catholic, gun toting, republican (this cycle) would defend anyone that was being treated in any way badly because of some racist asshole. I've been known to speak my mind against any wrong even when my ribs were getting attacked by an elbow.

If anyone is upset about what I say that's just to bad. I expect any able bodied person to be able to handle life as it is given to them and work to improve their life not blame others for their stupid views and predicaments that they could have solved with some thought. I could care less about people that cry the world done them wrong and all that shit. If that's my "white privilege" or whatever term anyone decides to call it today, so be it. There is no argument whatsoever by anyone on this board that Pedophiles are not sick depraved brain twisted assholes that go by their internal drive and never think about the consequences. I'm glad that even though it may take years every single person that ignored their moral compass will get caught.

Right now somebody in the world is doing it now and that is what makes me sick. Just because I don't follow anyone's viewpoint does not mean I'm not hoping for the same end result. Peace

I understand that Maggot.

Everybody here has their own viewpoints and no one is being asked to take responsibility for other people's problems, just their own words.

And, if I thought anybody here advocated pedophilia or hoped for it to happen, I wouldn't be able to say sincerely that I don't think anyone at Mock is a douchebag.

The NYPD announced a few days ago that they are gathering evidence to charge Harvey Weinstein with the rape of actress Paz de la Huerta in 2010. Investigators say her story is credible and there is corroboration.

Right now, Weinstein is at the Meadows rehab center undergoing its Gentle Path sex addiction program; the same program Kevin Spacey reportedly just entered.

For about $36,000 a month, patients get a sprawling pool, fitness center, and a variety of gentle treatment choices.

They can choose “equine-assisted psychotherapy,” in which patients learn how to use their interactions with horses as a way to move past barriers in their own relationships. They can also choose from expressive arts therapy and spirituality counseling programs.

Today, journalist Ronan Farrow released follow-up on his original Weinstein piece. He said Weinstein, via his attorney, hired undercover agents and operatives formerly with Mossad and other Israeli intelligence agencies to gather information on journalists and Weinstein accusers -- Rose McGowan, Annabella Sciorra, Rosanna Arquette and others -- in attempt to silence them.

I really hope Weinstein's next rehab stint is behind bars.

For decades Weinstein and Spacey have allegedly been getting off on abusing vulnerable people and trying (successfully, for the most part) to keep their victims from speaking out.

They knew what they were doing was very wrong and never sought treatment until they were old and busted. Them going to rehab seems more like a PR move than a sincere attempt to own up to what they've done and change themselves for the better.

While I generally believe rehabilitation should be attempted and hope it succeeds, it seems like a crock of shit to me in these cases too.

') Well, he is a horse's ass.

It's being reported that Charlie Sheen, another horse's ass, is the person who sodomized Corey Haim on the set of "Lucas" when Haim was 13 and Sheen was 19.

Corey Feldman has alluded to as much for years, but never directly accused Sheen by name.

Feldman says Haim told him at the time that the man he had sex with told him that all boys and men do that kind of stuff and Haim was young and naive; he believed it.

Another friend of Haim's has named Sheen as the person who got Haim stoned and then took him into the alley on-set.

The story broke in the National Enquirer. It won't surprise me if it's true. But, if it's not (and maybe even if it is) the accuser should expect Sheen to take aim at him. Sheen denies it.

Holy shit!

Given who it is, I am more apt to believe it than not. I hope it's not true. That is some seriously fucked up shit.

Maybe Charlie punched him once and Corey is pissed about it still. You have to look at all the angles here.

Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and its the latest greatest fad to go back 10-20 years and bitch about things they should have bitched about when it was happening. Bunch of freaks.

It's a good thing. The consequences of speaking out previously were significant, often with little possibility of accomplishing anything other than being re-victimized via lost jobs, smear campaigns, being labeled a liar, and the unwillingness or inability of police to take action against offenders.

I'm not talking only about Hollywood. The business of Hollywood is obviously more visible to the public by its nature (politics too). But, this shit happens in all facets of society and hurts a lot of people. It really feels like the tide has changed this time.

Some of the offenses being aired are definitely more serious than others and I don't consider all of it to be sexual harassment or sexual assault (a 19 year old simply flirting with a 17 year old at work, for example, does not qualify in my eyes). But, much of it is sexual harassment and sexual assault and it always was. The more it can be reduced, the better.

Today's allegations...

^ Comedian Louis CK has been accused of sexual assault by 5 women. His new movie was pulled and his Colbert appearance was cancelled. Women have been reporting for like 15 years that he corners them and masturbates. Now it's finally being taken seriously. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/09/arts/...share&_r=0

^ Alabama Republican Congressional candidate Judge Roy Moore has been accused of propositioning and touching young teen girls when he was in his 30s. He's the batshit judge who thinks homosexuality should be illegal and was suspended from the bench for consistently attempting to forbid gay couples from legally marrying in defiance of federal law. If the allegations against him are true, the irony is rich and there's your 'ha ha fuck you'. ")

Moore denies the women's claims, calling them 'fake news' at the hands of Democrats.
