RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE IN 2016 US ELECTION & SPIN-OFF INVESTIGATIONS
Did Michael Flynn, the National Security Advisor didn't really engage diplomatically with foreign countries? That is the worst thing ever. Al.oat as bad as takking with a lawyer about the status of adoption laws. When are they making these crimes at humanity capital offences?

Who was talking to a lawyer about the status of adoption laws?

I still like the way Trump is taking care of America's needs as his enemy's throw mud under every steep he takes. They certainly know the ropes on how to muck progress up but he is still moving forward. There is no collusion and it should be stated. I certainly do not expect an apology, that would be difficult for any of them to even acknowledge. It's amazing to watch.

There is no conspiracy on the Trump side BUT hang onto your hats because everything getting unredacted. Now let's see if ANYONE was "conspiring" to remove a sitting President.

The facts surrounding the charge against Mike Flynn are uncontested, well established and have been posted (repeatedly).

Mike Flynn lied to federal investigators about lobbying U.S. officials on behalf of foreign governments.

He also lied about speaking with Russian officials in regards to a pending UN resolution vote and in regards to lifting the sanctions against Russia for U.S. election interference.

Flynn was not the National Security Adviser yet when he had those communications with Russian officials (which we now know he'd run by a senior campaign official, believed to be Jared Kushner, in advance).

People lie to investigators because they don't want to face the consequences of telling the truth. People like Flynn, who knows better than most everyone about the repercussions of lying to federal agents, typically lie because they believe they can do so without suffering the consequences of lying (they think they're smarter than everyone else or they feel confident they'll be protected against breaking the law) -- in my opinion.

President Trump acknowledges his first National Security Adviser Michael Flynn lied to investigators and claims Flynn also lied to VP Pence in regards to Russian communications, which is why Trump said Flynn was fired or "forced to resign".

Flynn admits and pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators. He also agreed to cooperate with the independent counsel. In exchange, he got a deal wherein he was only charged with lying to investigators. For his full cooperation, he will reportedly face a minimum sentence and $9,500.

Flynn has not been sentenced yet, which suggests to me that Mueller still finds Flynn useful as the investigation progresses.

Jesus Christ.  I can't even laugh at the idiotic bullshit these gossip guys try to pass off as truth in serious discussion threads anymore.  I'm jaded to it by now and feel like the clean up lady on aisle 4.

1.  The people did not demand FISA warrants to be released, of course.
The President issued that order right after Paul Manafort flipped.

I think he's making a big mistake in doing so -- it looks a whole lot like he's compromising confidentiality and trying to undermine the Justice Department (yet again) in attempt to discredit the Mueller probe.  I don't know what Mueller's file of potential obstruction of justice charges looks like, but I bet it keeps growing. <-- That's my observation and opinion, not something that can be claimed as a fact or that I can attribute to "the people", that would be dishonest.

2. James Comey isn't charged with anything, so Baker cannot be "testifying against him".
James Baker may be asked to give testimony if there are inquiries into the FBI processes beyond the full investigation already conducted by the Inspector General.  As far as I know, however, "Baker testifying against Comey" is QAnon conspiracy bullshit.  I'll stand corrected if you can post a credible source link FryGuy.

Trump has withdrawn his unwise request for unredacted FISA warrants to be released to the public and Baker still isn't testifying against Comey.

But, here's something that is actually going down now: Michael Cohen is cooperating with Mueller's team in regards to the Trump Campaign interactions with Russia + Trump finances.

Mueller hasn't offered Cohen a cooperation deal. Cohen's scheduled to be sentenced for the 8 felonies to which he pleaded guilty in NY on December 12th.

Everything Cohen says needs to be fully vetted, of course. He definitely wants to spend as little time in prison as possible and is no longer a Trump fan boy.

But, Mueller's team has a whole lot of docs and communications acquired from the search of Cohen's home, hotel, and office. That's should help quite a bit in regards to confirming information he provides to investigators, as should interviews with other Trump staffers.

Well, Trump and company told the American people last year that they predicted the Russia probe would be completed by Thanksgiving 2017.  It's looking like they might have been off by only 12 or 13 months.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is expected to issue findings on core aspects of his Russia probe soon after the November midterm elections as he faces intensifying pressure to produce more indictments or shut down his investigation, according to two U.S. officials.

Specifically, Mueller is close to rendering judgment on two of the most explosive aspects of his inquiry: whether there were clear incidents of collusion between Russia and Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, and whether the president took any actions that constitute obstruction of justice, according to one of the officials.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Mueller’s findings would be made public if he doesn’t secure unsealed indictments.

The regulations governing Mueller’s probe stipulate that he can present his findings only to his boss, who is currently Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

The regulations give a special counsel’s supervisor some discretion in deciding what is relayed to Congress and what is publicly released.

Clinton and the DNC hires Fusion to find dirt on Trump, they use a fake story to get Obama and the FBI a FISA warrant to spy on Trump he finds out and moves his operation to a different location then after he is President the FBI accuse him of Russian collusion.

I think he will release the document and that was one of the reasons he was with Rosenberg a week ago. He got another 15 judges in and will wait until the vote is a week away like the Dems did with Kavenaugh. Obama i bet had a hand in the entire thing along with a bunch of other "upstanding citizens"

It was one of the things Trump used as leverage to get the Dems to approve the judges he wanted in the federal courts. They just didn't do that because he asked them nicely.
