I like Maroon 5. That should probably go in the guilty pleasure thread, but I somehow don't feel guilty about it.

Maggot is the only person I know who roots for the Patriots, which is a tiny bit bizarre given it's human nature to be drawn to winners. I don't know why that is unless it's the allegations of cheating that have plagued them at different times. I have my own team and that's who I am monogamous to.

A boring game until the 4th Edelman IS the man. I think he's a better player than Brady. Patriots win again this is 6 times and it may be a record that stays forever.

I know I usually root for the underdog , but after all those years when Bledsoe was in and before with the leaky stadium and crappy coaching I,m glad they are the great ones today. Brady has been with the same team for years and you don't see that often.

It's pretty common among QB's actually.

I too (when I get to watch their games)  root for the Pats, have for years through good and bad times.
Tom at 41, appears to be playing somewhat more caushiously!  Rams #39 roughed him up a few times, where penalty SHB given!

Also when it happens, and I get to watch their games, I  root for the Eagels. I'm funny like that. hah

Patriots fan here also(I even have a Patriots sweatshirt). Watched the game while drinking beer and smoking cigars in a cigar lounge. One of the guys said the game was like watching paint dry and his grandsons flag football game was more exciting. That's why at halftime we played poker.

Gronk is a hoot, Maggot. I know you already know that. He seems like he would be so much fun to be around. I once saw him stand in front of a chest of drawers and with one single jump he was atop it. It was ah-mazing.

I just read that the Eagles only concern right now is keeping Nick away from the Giants. Ahahahaha! I am so amused by that. FilthyNewYorkGiants.

If there is a way for Nick to stay in Philly, he's doing it. I feel strongly about that, absolutely no one I know agrees with my opinion and I'll be back to eat crow if I have to. I know I've been a broken record about this.

Dammit! Sky will be staring at that black guys hand waiting for it to slip into Gronks shorts. Such a gay picture.

Do you think he will retire? I had read a year or so ago that he has a career in Hollywood if he wants it, something along the lines of what The Rock has.

I don't think "action hero" is in the cards. Maybe a game show host or something, or a sports related show like gladiator. But he would be just as comfortable coaching high school football.

I just don't think we can take a 20 million $ CAP hit and be competitive next year. But yeah, the franchise tag is to keep him away from the NFCE and avoid the cap hit.
