What is going on?

Do you ever feel like you are being taught a lesson over and over again?
For the last month I have had things happen to me where I have had to speak up about a dis satisfaction with a service or a product and it is driving me crazy! I have never had this many issues before.
So it is either service has gone even farther down hill than I thought or that universal person in the sky is trying to teach me a lesson and I haven't learned it yet.

I will name a list of things that have happened over the last month down below.

I also just want to state that I have known people that would come into work every single freaking day and they would some how report about something that had happened to them-they were the victim ALL THE TIME. I am totally not doing that! I don't want this! DAmmit! (Not that they did either-but seriously I think some people invite that shit into their lives)
What am I doing to invite that shit into my life?

1. Ordered something at Office Depot that didn't show up. Had to call or email and let them know-they gave a refund and then I had to re-order the same shit again. WTF Kind of lame way is that to deal with it.
2. Ordered something from a Tech Company that went to an incorrect address stored in the system. I could not get a refund until it reached that location (Which didn't exist because it was a fake address)(This happened at work by the way) So then I had to wait until it was returned back to the shipping hub, which took forever. We finally got a refund on it-and I opted not to re-order the part at this time.
3. I purchased a shirt at a store which is 150 miles from my house while I was in that town, only to get home and not find the shirt along with my other purchases in my car. Easy I thought, "I will just call the store, and they will see it on the counter and realize it didn't make it to my bag and then they can send it to me" WRONG
They couldn't find the shirt, or the same size shirt in the store. And the manager wasn't in, so they would call me the next day. I don't recall if they called me back or if I had to call them-I asked for either a refund or for them to send me the shirt in the mail. They finally sent a shirt from another store, but it couldn't be delivered to a PO box so I had to have it delivered to a house address. (The place I live doesn't accept mail, they use a PO Box as well-as most people do in this town)
4. U-HAUL. I will never use them again. Their rates change based upon demand. The rate I saw for the truck I wanted to rent somehow only went up when I was in the store-I asked if I would get a different rate than online and they said no-also I chose to drive the truck to the next town when I was done with my move in order to save $79-plus my vehicle was there at the train station anyway so it all worked out-except I didn't get my $79. They refunded me $50 and no explanation-but only after I was also charged for mileage I should not have been charged for and an extra $30 that came off my card-and no one will call me back about this.

WTF

Oh-
Add to the list-The apartment that I moved in to was supposed to be clean before I moved in-it also sat for almost a month-plenty of time to clean it. I took pictures and documented it and cleaned it myself before moving my stuff into it.

I think customer service has become almost non-existent in most places. I don't think it's just you - maybe because you are around civilization more these days you're noticing it.

It's really fucked up. I think I am too nice and need to start being more of a bitch.

So uhaul takes more than 48 hours to respond by phone to a concern, but responds instantly to a FB or Twitter complaint against their company.
Interesting.
We will see how this one goes.

Cock doesn't solve my problem by the way. It is only a temporary solution and distraction. I want a solution!

(I still haven't heard from U-Haul by the way)

That's horrible customer service. Tweet about them and you'll hear back in a nano second. I only say that because I saw several people tweeting about At&T and damn if they weren't right there and wanting to address the issue.

You're a better person than me. I usually try and avoid confrontations.

Two weeks ago I was eating breakfast at the McDonald's in the Plaza as usual and as usual they make me wait 5-10 minutes for my Coke while people that came in after me get their coffee. Well that day I complained to the manager. She went over to the girl in charge of the drinks. Chewed her out good. I didn't stick around to see if she got fired or not. (feel kind of guilty for making a fuss) Haven't been back there since. I now eat at Subway for breakfast and lunch.

That is what I did last night-and someone replied so quickly. They said they contacted the area manager-and that is the person I have not heard from yet. So I will try again on Monday.

@Clang, I hear ya, stuff like that is akward.

.

If you really like Micky D's, go back there as Daniella, and check it out, she may be gone.
And if she's still there, see if she serves you any faster now that you're a "her". hah
