Wow, what a compelling ad, after seeing it, seems like anyone who would vote for Paul has to be a fool!

The siblings essentially say it's very difficult for the family to be in such a position, but they believe their brother is dangerous to the state and the country and his mind is not focused on representing his constituents, a sort of "intervention" on their parts.

Here's one of the three ads:

Michael Bloomberg is investing $100 million in Democratic Super Pacs ahead of the November mid-term elections.  That will go a long way towards advertising, canvasing and administrative efforts.

According to his adviser, Bloomberg was extraordinarily disappointed in the Republican Senate leadership's handling of the Kavanaugh Supreme Court hearings, which prompted him to increase his contributions.

He now believes the Democrats can take back not only the House, but also the Senate.

Bloomberg, the billionaire businessman and former NYC mayor, is an Independent who's rumored to be considering a 2020 run for President on the Democratic ticket.  He's mulled running a few times in the past as well.

What's with all these old-as-dirt men considering running for president? How about someone under 60, top age range? Fucking Bernie Sanders is 77 years old, Bloomberg is 76 and Biden is 75.

Well that's a pretty penny. Yay!

It's a huge political contribution by any standard and will definitely help the Democrats compete for more House and Senate seats aggressively.

In the future, I really wish our elections would be less influenced/controlled by money.  I'd love to see Citizens United overturned.  Corporate money is not free speech and should not be unlimited. It's a terrible law, in my opinion.

It should not be that political parties and candidates are so dependent on huge donations to compete.  That just opens the door to them becoming beholden to special interests and super rich individuals.

But, now that the Supreme Court is dominated by conservative judges, I think the chance of Citizens United being overturned anytime soon is very slim.

While not under 60........... there is a younger high profile male Democrat who looks to be seriously considering throwing his hat in the ring for 2020.

John Kerry is only 74!  ')

The speculated female Democratic candidates for 2020 are younger though.

Elizabeth Warren: 69 (she looks way younger than that, to me)
Kamala Harris: 53
Amy Klobuchar: 58

I’m sure I’ve told this story before:

I used to sit in the sauna with Jim Klobuchar back in the mid-90’s at Northwest Athletic Club in St Louis Park.

Jim was a sports writer at the Star Tribune and is Amy’s dad.

He’d engage me in conversation (on several occasions) and he always seemed like a real down to earth, reasonable person.

I think Amy has a lot of that in her.
