I don't think I'm geeky in any way unless having my nose in a book is semi-geeky. I don't know much about tech or gaming.

I re-opened this and for a second thought we were talking about greek restaurants. Oh yeah, it was geeks, not greeks.

I think anyone on a forum is a geek! Smiley_emoticons_biggrin Or an attention whore. Or......?????

I may have to find a pair of glasses and wrap the middle of them in tape so I can "fit in" the next time I go there.

Reading books makes you a nerd not a geek.

This forum was inspired by a couple of guys. Moose & Kid. Mock didn't have a food forum for quite awhile, LC and Sally wanted one but I dug in my heels, I'm glad I stopped being that way. Moose is a former Member, he was a vile individual, maybe the most revolting person I've encountered online, he was eventually banned but not by me, by MF who created Mock. Kid is till around, somewhat infrequently these days, I think he's in love. He's the polar opposite of Moose. Anyway, Moose would call women soup chickens, meaning they are inferior and Kid would talk about us as being a bunch of hens or something to that effect.

Long, convoluted story, huh. I'm high.

Thanks for the history!

I sent Clang a message which showed the items I was talking about. I forgot I had won 2 of them in an auction-and they are both signed by Jeff Probst.

They are probably worth nothing now and I should just take them out of the package and wear them.

You should keep them in the package if possible, they might be worth something someday. I recently bought a Weird Al Yankovic figure I'm keeping in the box hoping to get it signed someday. Also I bought a Rocketeer collectible figure that I'm keeping in the box for now.

I have 2 sets of Star Wars mini action figures that I bought when I was 12 still in the box as well as the full set of the first edition Mutant Ninja Turtles (also still in the box) that were a brownish green color. My son was really into TMNT when he was a toddler, so I bought two of each for Christmas when they were released.

A TMNT release is great if you haven't had one in a while.
