New "Bitch of the day" Thread . . . .
It's so hot and humid here that it's miserable to just walk outside for two minutes.

If I walk outside I go from sleek and thin to a fat sweaty puff ball. That's how I feel anyway.

So you did get to go back to work, are they practicing "social distancing" between you and you co-workers?

Yes, practicing social distancing  between co workers and mask must be worn in the office except when eating lunch or sitting in our cubicles.

Is it good to be back at work, Clang? How long were you off? Couple months?

Yeah I was off since March 18th. Tuesday was my first day back. Yeah it feels good to be back at work. I'm pretty much caught up already with the backlog of work. I'm sure they'll find me busy work if I run out of my regular work. I think the walking to work is good too. I think the circulation in my right foot and toes is improving a little. No weight loss yet. Next step, cook more, eat healthier.

If you need to Bitch, or vent, about anything, feel free, you can do it here!

I'll start:

My bitch today is I'm fed up already with the bungling way Brett Kavanaugh's investigation is being handled!

I think the thing that is wearing me out so much is not what people post-but reading the subsequent comments and insults after. It seems completely pointless and no one is changing anyone's mind.
I only saw one conversation on racism where one person acknowledged a racist statement made and a little bit of progress was made. Otherwise people are just wearing me the fuck out.

The anger, the inability to adjust, the inability to be creative and think outside the box and do something different. People are so set on things being the way they always were-its like fucking experience something new for once.
There is so much fear in the unknown it is ridiculous. Live a little!

It feels better than day one anyway. 2 miles a day/5 days a week. I may keep this up even in the winter and when the shuttle bus returns. I'm surprised at my body and myself. I thought my body would give out from the heat and being out of shape on Day one.

Well, today I called and cancelled our plane reservations that I made in April for next Thursday June 25th!

I've been anguishing about doing that for the past 3 weeks, knowing all along I probably would.

I wanted to go, and then thinking about it, I didn't want to go!

As I really didn't think it would be wise to get on a flying possible virus petri dish!

Now, it has been said, Covid-19 cases here in SNAKEland (I HATE SNAKES) are skyrocketing!!! Shit, Piss, Fuck!

Most younger people, however, so maybe we'll get some herd immunity going on here untill they get a vaccine. The more younger people that get it the better, absent of deaths of course, but I dont think many are dying from it unless they are already sick. We can't hide from it untill there is a safe and proven vaccine, so next best thing is young healthy people getting it and recovering.

Apparently many of them have to be "Protestors" that carelessly didn't wear masks and certainly didn't social distance.
No mention of that fact in the news! Seems they are afraid to highlight that fact!

As you said, They are young and likely will recover, however, how many Older relatives, and compromised health people
(that are practicing proper protocol) will they infect along the way, causing their deaths?!

You just cannot convince me that the protests had nothing to do with all these young people catching this. And they just don't give a fuck. Most of them don't because they hope they die before they get old. It's been like that for many, many years.

I have never wondered why they call me bitch.

I see that car's listening to government recommendations is working out really well for him.  In the interim,  I haven't heard of any single snowbird come back to new Hampshire and complain about the rise in covid cases.

I missed the boat!

By the time I started looking for flights back to NE in early May, there were no "non-stop" flights till End of June! All May early June were sold out!
