WTF is wrong with my lips? (Gross photo)
#1
Does anyone else ever get inflamed lips (on your face)?  I can't figure out if it's some kind of allergy to something like a vape pen or what and it's driving me crazy.  It doesn't itch but it burns.  I don't get blisters but it does weep around the edges of my lips.  Chapstick is making it burn even more.

Have you eaten or drank anything with limes? I ask because the same thing happened to my lips once and it was so bad I went to a dermatologist. That was the first thing she asked me and it turned out I just got back from vacation and was drinking coronas with limes out in the sun on the beach. Limes actually have a chemical in it that can burn your lips and skin. Learn something new everyday. Either way, dont use anymore chapstick or lick your lips. It will actually make it worse.

Somebody is bitter. How are your lips doing from french kissing Donald Trump's fat ass for the past six months?

No lime and no assholes. What did your dermatologist recommend using?

This was years ago, but I think she prescribed something. I just remember her saying no chapstick and try not to lick your lips because it will make it much worse.

I did a search because I remember posting about my chapped lips and I thought that maybe I mentioned what they prescribed me. I didn't mention it. But damn, after going through all the pages it seems I had all kinds of ailments back in 2014. My lips, my bladder, my liver, brain cancer....

It's because you google all your random symptoms, you boob. Stop doing that. One day you're going to convince yourself you're dying from some exotic tropical disease.

They are doing fine. They don't look like that. Looks like Rootilda could grow a pretty decent mustache.

I've had more medical issues this year also. I suspect it has to do with transitions and not making the best choices in eating-or just skipping eating all together!

Hope your lip gets better Rootilda! It looks ouchy! At what point will you go to the doctor if it doesn't go away?

There are a lot of allergies that can cause the release of histamines, which make your lips inflame.

It could be you're allergic to something you ate, something in the environment, or you got an insect bite.

You could put an anti-inflammatory cream on them, but the swelling typically goes down in one or two days on its own (and a lot of women pay good money for those duck lips Smiley_emoticons_wink  ).

That was a good decision and investment.
