Mine got drained and pressure washed this year. It's now full again and feels as cold as a mountain lake. I haven't been all the way in yet and I don't intend to until it has had days of the sun beating on it. I have a heater but all I can hear is cha-ching when I turn it on so I don't.

The state of Alabama gives rapists rights to the children conceived through their assaults. This is made possible because abortion is illegal there. No exceptions! Alabama hates women.

Would you pull over and move a turtle out of the road?

You don't want to be mistaken for a caring individual so you would only do it if there weren't anyone around to see. K.

See, we look at that differently.

I look at it as he doesn't want to endanger his loved ones left parked on the side of the road, that could be run into by a careless driver. How bout that BM?

(I know that would be me, only once in all my years of driving did that happen. I was alone and did get out of my car and go stamp my feet/push behind the turtle to hurry it along)

And close your eyes Ms D, I once (when much younger) ran over and killed a SNAKE (I HATE SNAKES) slithering across the road. I was going about 65 at that time, so I didn't have much time to react.

I tend to travel mostly rural roads & didn't consider a turtle being on a highway but I understand your point.

I saw a puppy on the side of a busy road years ago while I was driving my daughter to school. I didn't stop because I would have had to turn down a side road right in the ghetto, find a place to park and then walk with my daughter to the major road hoping we don't get hit crossing the intersection. Sure enough on the way back I saw the puppy ground up like hamburger. It still haunts me.

As sad as that was, it's way better then it wound up being you & daughter! (Or ghetto victims)

As Mark said I would have stopped if I was alone or if it was just a rural road, but this paticular road is like trying to find a place to park in New York city.

Cars, I can't go into your animal cruelty thread. I'm afraid of what I'll see.

It's just words, I didn't post the link, as for some odd reason when I do it posts my personal info too.
