It only took 4 minutes. It did not last 4 minutes long. Though I suppose I could have carried it out a bit.

It was probably as far back as 2008 and I'm uncertain which direction to point you.

LONDONDERRY — A Londonderry man driving a white Kia SUV with a home air conditioning unit sticking out a back window, and a gas-powered generator on top caught the attention of a bystander when the driver was stopped by Londonderry police Tuesday.
Capt. Patrick Cheetham of the Londonderry Police Department said a patrol officer pulled the Kia over at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday because of a missing inspection sticker.
The AC unit, secured with a frame of two-byfours, and strapped-down generator

were apparently perfectly legal.
“They’re all secured, they’re all fastened,” Cheetham said. “We can’t find a violation.”
The officer learned during a roadside interview with the driver that he had just registered his vehicle approximately 10 minutes before he was pulled over, which means he fell within the 10-day grace period to attach an inspection sticker.
Police let the driver go without a violation. Since he didn’t break the law, police have declined to name him.
“The operator uses the vehicle for work during the day, and so as not to leave the vehicle unattended and running, which would be a violation, he uses the unit to keep the vehicle cool for him and his dog,” Cheetham said.

Cheetham said the man does not run the generator while the car is running, so police viewed it as no different than securing a canoe or mattress to the roof of one’s car. State law prohibits having objects stick out more than six inches from the side of a vehicle without a red flag. The AC unit fell within that restriction, Cheetham said.
Cheetham said the sight is unusual, but the man was following the rules.
“You don’t see it every day,” he said.
Photos of the car were taken by a Derry resident who posted them on Facebook, writing the driver “really can’t handle this heat.”
Within 24 hours of posting the photos, they were shared more than 385 times and the post received about 190 comments and likes.
