I haven't been following the Prince Andrew / Epstein scandal, but read this morning that the dirty dog sleeze did an (disastrous) interview with BBC this weekend in attempt to stave off all the accusations and speculation surrounding his visits and relations with Epstein.

He said he couldn't remember ever meeting the woman, Virginia Roberts, who claims she was sex-slaved by Epstein.

And, he said he couldn't have had sex with the woman because he has a condition that prohibits him from sweating (which was part of her description of their encounter).

He also said he wasn't  a prince who partied or hugged women or anything like that and that he was having pizza with his daughter Beatrice at the time Roberts alleges.

In response, the Daily Mail just published a slew of photos showing Andrew partying and hugging several women during that time frame.  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article...viera.html

Yeah, Epstein's dead as a doornail. But, the girls he trafficked are grown women now and some of them want to have their stories told.

From what I read, Prince Andrew's close relationship with Epstein was well known and the pressure on him to respond to Roberts' accusation was hard-core.

His silence was deafening and was largely being regarded as a sign of guilt.

So, guilty or innocent, I can kinda see why he felt he needed to address the matter publicly.  But, I agree that he's one dopey bastard.  He did not come across well in that BBC interview at all.

Erm,  is it worse than fergie getting her toes sucked while topless?  Or Charles declaring in writing that he wanted to be Camilla's tampon or someshit?  I'm pretty sure British Royalty thrives on being scandalized.

Epstein's Prison Guards Indicted

Michael Thomas and Tova Noel, who were on duty the night before Epstein was found dead at the Metropolitan Correctional Center by suicide Aug. 10, have been indicted by a grand jury with six counts tied to falsifying prison records.

The allegations are that Thomas and Noel sat at their desk, browsed the internet for furniture and motorcycles, and moved around a common area.

Epstein was in the cell closest to the common area, which meant the guards were approximately 15 feet away, the indictment says.  He was supposed to be checked every 30 minutes, but no checks were conducted.

Also, for a period of approximately two hours, "Noel and Thomas sat at their desk without moving and appeared to have been asleep," the indictment says.

According to the indictment, after finding Epstein dead early in the morning, Noel told the supervisor that "Epstein hung himself" and said that she and Thomas never completed the 3 a.m. or 5 a.m. rounds.

Thomas then stated, "We messed up," and added, "I messed up, she's not to blame, we didn't do any rounds."

U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said the two guards "had a duty to ensure the safety and security of federal inmates in their care at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. Instead, they repeatedly failed to conduct mandated checks on inmates, and lied on official forms to hide their dereliction.”

The guards were reportedly offered a plea deal, which they turned down.

That's not how it works. Quite the opposite in fact.

The thing is, they receive hefty incomes from the British taxpayer and these sort of scandals threaten that income.

Crying-into-tissue However will England carry on without Prince Andrew's invaluable leadership and charitable works?

Seriously, I have no idea what the dude ever did besides hobnob and fuck around anyway.

The backlash and rejection is so intense I bet he has sunk into a deep depression. Apparently though, he is not a nice guy. The interview was unfortunately revealing of a degree of callousness.

The last thing I remember about him was over 30 yrs ago when he was running around raising hell. I have no doubts that he has done what has been said about him.

Epstein's long-time confidante, girlfriend and alleged co-conspirator was finally arrested on Thursday.

Jet-setting Ghislaine Maxwell (pictured right) had eluded authorities for months and months before she was located and arrested by the FBI at a luxury rural resort home in New Hampshire.

She's been charged with six counts related to sexual solicitation/procurement, including of minors, and faces up to 35 years if convicted.

Last night I finished watching a four part documentary about "Filthy Rich" Epstein on Netflix.  I didn't know a whole lot about his background.

It's a good watch for those interested in learning more about this sleazy case.  There are interviews with the accusers, some of the law enforcement officials who'd pursued Epstein for years, prosecutors, defense attorneys, etc.

Ghislaine Maxwell's background and relationship with Epstein is also covered, as is the question of "murder or suicide?".

The Chatter & Speculation

There's a lot of speculation from on-line case followers and tabloid media that Ghislaine Maxwell will either wind up dead very soon due to her connections to so many rich and powerful people, or that she'll quickly turn over a trove of very incriminating info and pics/videos of those movers and shakers engaging in sexual misconduct to save her own ass.

I don't know if Maxwell has any such evidence to offer up, but federal investigators did report locating hundreds of secret homegrown pornographic videos (some depicting minors) in Epstein's vault when they arrested him last year.

The most recognizable of the names that have been mentioned by Epstein's and Maxwell's accusers over the years are Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Alan Dershowitz.
