NFL 2020

It's a new season, football fans. A fresh start.

I recently read that the powers that be want a 17 game season & it's one of the things that will be addressed in our new CBA. As much as I love football I think it's a bad idea. I don't much care for the Thursday night games either.

I wish Tom Brady would put some of these sports writers out of their misery. Oh my gods the fuckin' drama.

They make me crazy. They are so dramatic, 15 year old girl dramatic.

I just want to read the sports news, not their ridiculous opinions.

Holy cow! I think they let Tom go! I haven't had a chance to read anything yet but I saw a letter the Pat's posted. WTF is wrong with them. This is a bad business decision.

He's gone. I just read his goodbye letter to his fans. I feel weepy. What the fuck is wrong with me, he's the enemy.  Russian

Greatest player I've ever watched.

Ha! I can see why! What about Jimmy though? I'd feel bad for him. He spent years behind Tom at the Patriots.

I'm glad it's over and was reminded of when people were waiting to see who killed J.R. or when Laura & Luke would get married.

Brady would be behind Jimmy in SF (in my scenario).

For anyone who might be interested--

With so many people homebound because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NFL is trying to help pass the time. The league is offering complimentary access to NFL Game Pass, beginning immediately.

NFL Game Pass, a digital product available across multiple platforms and devices, offers an extensive library of football programming. It includes access to past regular and postseason NFL games, previous seasons of NFL Films series such as Hard Knocks and A Football Life and exclusive NFL Game Pass Film Sessions with some of the league’s star players and coaches.

The NFL digital platforms also will offer fans full game encores each day across NFL.com, the NFL app and NFL’s official YouTube channel. The encores will feature signature wins from all 32 teams. Complimentary access lasts until May 31 for fans within the U.S.,

To sign up for complimentary access to NFL Game Pass, fans need to create an account on the web at NFL.com/GamePass or via the NFL app across mobile and connected TV devices.

Rumors abound! Tampa Bay is discussing a trade with the Patriots for Gronk. Huh?

I have a feeling that if there are no sports this year it will take a loooooooooooooooong time for it to come back the way it was. Quite a few people are pissed about all these name changes and PC crap turning the teams into crazy names. Many are really turned off because of it.

Didn't the boys of summer try to start their season and it got shut down almost immediately because of players testing positive for Covid? I don't follow baseball so I don't know what became of it.

The NFL thinks players can play smash mouth football for an hour but the time it takes to exchange a jersey with another player after the game is a bridge too far and is completely unacceptable.  78

I don't think the NFL season will come about. These players will not get paid if there is no season and their dreams of riches will be dashed. If there isn't any money coming in they just won't get paid. No matter what contract they signed. If it comes to a face-off the NFL will just file bankruptcy, it's not that far fetched. Then all the stadiums become defunct. It's a friggin mess.

How are those Redskins doing? I will always call them the Washington Redskins no matter what they end up being called.
