Got my Trump stimulus
#21
It's not a Trump stimulus.

It's a governmental/congressional relief payment.

In any case, I'm getting squat (which is fine/appropriate).  My niece qualifies for the $1,200 relief payment.  She always get her tax refund via paper check, so it's gonna be a few weeks before she receives it though.

I do my tax refund through direct deposit so hopefully I'll get my stimulus check this week.

Trump made sure his signature was on the check so his mindless drones would think he was personally responsible for this windfall.

Took forever, but I got unemployment last week. They're good in Vermont, with the 600 stimulus per week and 4 weeks back plus the weekly unemplyment, makes for a tidy sum. No stimulus payout yet though. Did taxes for 2018 in Oct last year and got a paper check, so I'll probably be getting that in August or Sept.

That's ok, I'll just use it for my trip to Portugal in September, if there's anything left of us by then.

It shouldn't take that long to get a physical check. The direct deposits were made the last 2 Wednesdays and this Wednesday. The physical checks were mailed on the 20th. I saw the first ones today. They don't have a "signature" from Trump, but his name is on them.

Well it's official.......I'm an idiot. I thought I had finished e-filing my taxes back in mid March. Even remembered getting a confirmation email. Well on a whim I logged into my Turbotax account last night and because i hadn't put the correct school district code on my state return my 2019 taxes have remained unfiled until last night. Got an email that they accepted so I should be getting my stimulus check in the next few weeks or sooner.

One of my stepdaughters friends just commented that we won't have to pay the stimulus back,  because it's not taxable.    Funniest shit I've heard in a while.   I guess her generation thinks the government makes it's own money and just gives it away.   Oy.
