Still gonna stick with that answer. A week doesn't go by that I don't think about.

That's something that you have thought about for a long time now. It's scary and I can see why you do.

As an adult, I realized that. I did a lot of things that I wouldn't dream of doing now. I had to learn fear. I had a boyfriend with an old hot rod and I'd stay in the car while he was 14 mile drag racing anyone who was foolish enough to race with him. That one gives me pause and I know how lucky we were not to wreck and die. We used to ride the waves behind the ships in the St. Lawrence too, another shit for brains moment.  78

These weren't exactly snowdrifts but after weeks of the plows going by the snow would tend to pile that high and we'd build forts inside them. I have a ton of happy snow memories.

You're lucky they didn't collapse on you.   A couple of years ago,  2 kids in town died, because they tunneled through a snow pile,  and it caved in on them.

Many of my SNOW memories are not all that happy! (And this was a Good Day!)

Last week my 1950 chair broke a leg. I thought something was odd and just ignored it. The leg gave out when I was drilling a pc of wood in my cellar and I landed wedged between 2 buckets of plaster and a box of florescent bulbs. My legs were up in the air as I was holding my drill. I tried kicking myself up but the angle was wrong and I sat there for 10 min trying to figure out what to do. My phone was on the other side of the room and I was friggin wedged there with my ass in the corner and my legs in the air.

I had to knock over the table next to me sending everything over with a loud crash then rolled out of the chair. Pens, papers, beer, glasses, books all spread all over.

That was when everyone came down wondering what the hell was going on.

My life sucks, I am welding the leg back on Monday.

When we went out to eat last weekend I pushed the lime into a corona light too far down with my forefinger. It created a suction and a wave of fear hit me like a ton of bricks. I was for sure that sob wasn't coming out.
