Still gonna stick with that answer. A week doesn't go by that I don't think about.

That's something that you have thought about for a long time now. It's scary and I can see why you do.

As an adult, I realized that. I did a lot of things that I wouldn't dream of doing now. I had to learn fear. I had a boyfriend with an old hot rod and I'd stay in the car while he was 14 mile drag racing anyone who was foolish enough to race with him. That one gives me pause and I know how lucky we were not to wreck and die. We used to ride the waves behind the ships in the St. Lawrence too, another shit for brains moment.  78

Got the stang up to 120 mph this morning, it still wanted to go but traffic was too heavy.
The top end on those is about 160 with a wind.
Remember we're all in the same storm, just not in the same ship.
Bad things happen real fast doing that.

These weren't exactly snowdrifts but after weeks of the plows going by the snow would tend to pile that high and we'd build forts inside them. I have a ton of happy snow memories.

You're lucky they didn't collapse on you.   A couple of years ago,  2 kids in town died, because they tunneled through a snow pile,  and it caved in on them.

Many of my SNOW memories are not all that happy! (And this was a Good Day!)
