History and the mining days

This is the place I spent a couple of years at in the mountains. The history of the area and the miners fascinate me.

Did you mean the ones that did the clean up project?

Not sure if I posted about this-but a while back there was a 92 year old on the boat who had been at the mine and was the person who filled out the last assay report at the mine.

I also just finished a book about a man who was a trapper in the same area in the 50's and later and ran a resort. He was a cranky bastard, but left an impression on several people.
