As far as it goes......Edward (Ted) Kennedy was a 77 year old man with brain cancer, how many of those do you think pass on each day?

That being said, the ultra libs are falling over themselves because their version of the Pope has just died.

I feel for his surviving family as the death of a loved one is never easy.

Personally, I really don't give a shit.

Edward (Ted) Kennedy was a 77 year old man with brain cancer, We are a much better nation for having had the privilege of a leader like Ted Kennedy.
Thus, proving my point!

I can't feel too sorry for his slighly premature death... he came from a VERY wealthy and powerful family, he was an important and powerful man in his own right and from what I can see, he led a pretty good life. That last is more than you can say for his two brothers that didn't even make it to 50.

Make that 3 brothers. Don't forget eldest brother Joseph, who died in WWII

In this Nov. 7, 1979 file photo, Sen. Edward Kennedy, right, receives applause from his family, from left, wife Joan, and their children, Kara, Patrick and Edward Jr., at Faneuil Hall in Boston where he announced he would seek the Presidency.

WASHINGTON — Six years after she was deemed cancer-free, Kara Kennedy accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom on behalf of her father, just days before Sen. Edward Kennedy died while battling a brain tumor.
However, her own lung cancer treatment — surgery and grueling chemotherapy and radiation — left her physically weakened, her brother Patrick Kennedy said. She died Friday at age 51 after her daily workout at a Washington-area health club.Kara Kennedy was born in 1960 to Edward and Joan Bennett Kennedy, just as her father was on the campaign trail for his brother John F. Kennedy during the presidential primaries.

So that's why her panty's were off when they found her. That was Teds fall back story. Read Babylon by Howie Carr.
