A tat for a fashion statement is tacky. The "tramp stamp" that all the girls are getting these days have been given that tag because it is so fitting. Ink has to have personal meaning to you. All my ink has a story of some kind behind it.
Unless you're just fucking with people and don't really want ink, in which case, eat shit and die.

I don't know you well enough to assume you are NOT among the young and naive girls who want that tramp stamp 'cuz it's popular I didn't mean that what you want is a fashion statement, I meant that as a general "to anyone reading" comment. How the fuck could I say that when I don't know what you want? YOU don't even know what you want! If it has a meaning for you, even what is called a tramp stampcan be sexy. I suppose.....
I am so opposed to fads and fashion shit that I don't even have pierced ears. Why not? Because everyone else does.
I have one name on me, and that is my son's. For those searching for tattoo advice; do NOT get the name of a person you think you love. Cover ink is expensive and more painful than the original.
Edited to add a pic of the tat with my son's name on it.

Tramp stamps were mildly edgy about 12 - 15 years ago, now they're just a cliched joke.

100% agreed. Like I said, they were given that name because it is so appropriate. Bullet's daughter wants one. I am doing my damndest to talk her out of it. In a little less than a year, neither of us will be able to tell her she can or cannot do anything. She'll regret it if she does it.

Duchess Wrote:Sinister..I think that is a lovely sentiment that all your tattoos have meaning behind them, seriously...But, why would I be so wrong for wanting what I want?...You immediately judged me...again...This is something serious for me... a big step, marking myself forever, its not just a "fashion statement"
Careful Duchess..... getting ink is very addictive. Maybe it's the pain factor? I don't know but I wish I had some extra money because I am yearning for lots more and I've a few I need to touch up the color.
They told me to use sunscreen but did I listen? No. Now all the color is out of my sun and i want it back!
Now, word of warning, the groin area is the most painful to get tattooed. When I had mine done there, I made them do it all in one sitting because I KNEW I wouldn't be doing this in two.
I say go for it. Make sure you like what you pick. Body art is beautiful.

Oh and let me add one more thing....
Take Sinister's advice on names seriously! Never, ever put anyone's name on your body even if you wind up living with them for 75 years! If you must put their name on you, do it when you're on your deathbed.
On a lighter note.... I have been considering putting my ex's name on the bottom of my foot for obvious reasons.... but damn, I bet that would be even more painful than the groin area.

"Never trust anyone with tattoos".
Agood rule of thumb that my father taught me, so far in my life it has proven to be100% true. All the people I have known in my life with tattoos, have been whores, criminals, perverts, the phoney tough and retards.
Just think how fucking stupid you are going to look in your old age, when the wrinkles and sagging flesh make you look like a leather rag that has had splodges of ink chucked on it.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, by the rulers as useful.
