i watched a documentary on fat people like that. about this man who liked his wife being morbidly obese. It was so disgusting, it was his fettish and it was killing her.

I have had a lapband, i wasnt huge huge but just enough post baby to make me feel self concious. it was worth the money but you still have to exercise and watch what you eat. I am on my feet alot sometimes at work and running after patients etc i dont need the excess weight. i lost 20kgs but i was not like those people that need excess skin cut off of anything like that. my insurance covered most of it, but the doctor still had a $3600 gap ouch, that hurt.

you had a lapband for a little pregnancy/baby fat?? :O that would have come off naturally.
i'm surprised a doctor was willing to do it. that's for morbid obesity, not cosmetic reasons. oh well, i guess Oz is different~~Hibye

Speaking of fat people. The only good thing I can see about children being fat is that they are more likely NOT to be sexually abused. Sad but true.

Honestly, there is no point. LC will never tell us your weight and we all are left with a mental image of you being very rotund.

The only damage control I can see at this point is to post a picture.

I rag about fat people on here, but I really don't care very much (outside of the impact on healthcare costs to the rest of us). I have a very obese friend and I love her to death. I do despise fat LAZY people, though. I don't see the point of consuming calories if you don't do any work or contribute to society. Talk about wasted calories.

there you have it, another uniformed statement without any research to back up such a remark. You should join the ladies on the View you would fit in there. You could sprout off all kinds of shit as facts based solely on uneducated stupidity.

BOSTON -- Boston’s ambulance service has modified one of its vehicles so it can handle the increasing number of obese patients that require transportation.

Officials say Boston Emergency Medical Services has to take anywhere from two to four patients weighing at least 450 pounds to area hospitals per week.

Capt. Jose Archila tells The Boston Globe he’s seen patients as much as 700 pounds.

Experts say obese patients can put the health of paramedics in danger, who can injure their backs and necks lifting and moving the overweight.

The modified Boston ambulance that hits the streets later this month includes a hydraulic lift and a stretcher that can bear loads of up to 800 pounds. It cost about $12,000 to retrofit the vehicle.

Jesus Christ.

Why do "normal' people have to be so fuckin' accommodating to the brain dead in our society. I don't care about those people, by their own hand they are fat. Let there be a fat people society that takes care of their own. All in favor say, aye.

How does this happen? How much do you have to eat to get that excess of body fat? How do people even walk with that much fat around the middle?

I have ten pounds I play with. Some years I have it and some years I don't. To let that become 100 or 200 has got to be a sign of mental illness or extreme selfishness. I couldn't afford to feed that heifer.
