doctors wanted to amputate her remaining leg, but she has refused. can't blame her.

"Another big operation is a big risk for a woman who is 94-years-old with high blood pressure," von Anhalt told the media in a press conference in Santa Monica Saturday. He said that when doctors told Gabor of their plans to remove her leg she squeezed his hand, shook her head and indicated that she did not want the doctors to touch her.

von Anhalt also indicated that her health is deteriorating, repeatedly mentioning that she may have another one or two years to live and that she isn't really speaking or aware of her situation. "She doesn't really know what's going on. She is very scared. She doesn't know its her home but that its a different environment."

"She doesn't want to suffer any more and I don't want her to suffer any more. But she is happier."

ok, now she and 'prince' asshat have lost their fucking minds. somewhere, this is about money/inheritance. i think he wants a baby so he has control of her assets when she dies. with any luck, he'll be run over by a truck before she passes.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband wants his 94-year-old wife to become a mother again using an egg donor, artificial insemination and a surrogate mother, Prince Frederic von Anhalt told CNN Thursday.

"I've gone through the initial steps of donor matching and blood work and next week the donation process will begin," von Anhalt said.

Gabor's only child, Francesca Hilton, described herself as shocked when told of the plan Thursday.

"That's just weird," Hilton said.

WTF?

I think a euthanasia clause should be forcibly invoked.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.

Now, I was always of the impression that once a woman goes through menopause there are NO MORE FUCKIN' EGGS LEFT??!!! That being the whole point of menopause. So, what I want to know is where are they getting the egg from??

edit to add...OK, I misread, did not see the words egg donor. But still...Smiley_emoticons_kotz

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, Prince Frederic von Asshat, wants his aged wife to become a mother again using an egg donor, artificial insemination and a surrogate mother.

'I've gone through the initial steps of donor matching and blood work and next week the donation process will begin,' von Asshat told CNN.

Von Anhalt, himself 67 , said he is working with Dr. Mark Surry of the Southern California Reproductive Centre in Beverly Hills, but CNN noted that their calls to the clinic have not been returned.

How can she be a mother again using egg donation and a surrogate? The baby won't be hers biologically. Why not adopt a baby? Although the thought of those two having a baby when she has one foot in the grave and he is older than dirt is absurd.

I think the inheritance comment has definite merit. I don't think Zsa Zsa has a clue what's going on. I think Prince Von Ahole is off his rocker in so many ways it isn't even funny - for cripes sake, didn't he have his pants "stolen" by two prostitutes a year or so ago?

Is there someone that can file an injunction to stop this? Do you have to be related? I can't think of a bigger tragedy for a child than to be born into this situation.

enough already.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Zsa Zsa Gabor was taken to a hospital for treatment of pneumonia Wednesday afternoon, her spokesman said.

"She's having trouble breathing," John Blanchette said. "They're trying to save her life right now, getting the fluids off her lungs."

The decision to take the 94-year-old actress to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center was made after her doctor examined her at her Bel Air, California, home, Blanchette said.

may as well put this in here:

LATimes
Jackie Cooper, whose tousled blond hair, pouty lower lip and ability to cry on camera helped make him one of the top child stars of the 1930s in films including "Skippy" and "The Champ," died Tuesday, his agent Ron Leif confirmed.

Cooper grew up to become a successful TV star in the 1950s, a top television studio executive in the '60s and an Emmy Award-winning director in the '70s. He was 88.

A former "Our Gang" cast member who began his Hollywood career as an extra in silent movies at age 3, Cooper shot to stardom at 8 playing the title role in "Skippy," the 1931 film based on a popular comic strip about a health inspector's son and his ragamuffin pal, Sooky.

The film, in which Cooper had three signature crying scenes, earned him an Academy Award nomination for best actor in a leading role. Lionel Barrymore won the Oscar that year.

more torture.

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Zsa Zsa Gabor was undergoing treatment at a Los Angeles hospital Wednesday following a problem with her feeding tube, the latest in a series of ailments in the past year.

Gabor was taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon because the feeding tube inserted into her stomach was "bleeding ... like a fountain," her spokesman said.

"They have to operate to clean it up," said spokesman John Blanchette.

Her husband "was worried and hoped she wasn't dying in front of his eyes," he said. "That's how scared he was."

Blanchette said she had surgery Tuesday evening and predicted she will be in the hospital for the next few days.

That poor old woman sure has been through a lot.

I was reading about real estate earlier & saw her home has been put on the market.

I don't like her prince. I think he's a social climbing, gold digging perv. Grrrr.
