I was still wearing my headlamp when my girlfriend called me for a video chat, I was outside, just walking in the door when she called.
Sure enough the power went out and I turned on the headlamp, all is well.
The power came back on, I had gone downstairs and was sitting on the floor next to the cat when the power went out again. Phone was upstairs, I didn't have my lamp on me, dang. So I got up and found the door, the window next to the door has a camp lantern/ battery powered. Now I'm walking around w/ 3 lights like an idiot.
Power is back on, but it is still super windy, I'm trying to go to sleep....

...and speaking of severe weather, I'm under a tornado warning until 7:00. Sonofabitch!

It's spitting snow, 20 mph winds and the Mountain Doodle and I just got back from a romp in the forest.

Now he's all cranky-pants because I'm beginning to pack . . . he knows I'm leaving tomorrow.

Should have at least 3-4 inches, by morning.

Poor Doodle!  Sitting on the chaise, looking out the window and being all pouty.

Hmmm . . . maybe a stick of string cheese will chase his blues away!

It's still dark and 62 degrees. I like sleeping with the windows open and there is a symphony of peepers out there.
