The storm actually intensified and we must have had a thousand lightning strikes with just waves of thunder, it was beyond belief.

Damn, I left for my appointment at 7:30 am this morning, no precipitation, great!

Holy crapola, was in the oral surgeons chair from 8:05 am to "11:40" am!!! Ouch!!!

During that time, it started to SNOW around 9 am and continued right through my drive home at 11:45. It was a messy ride!!! Winter Sucks!

I'm almost certain the calendar has flipped to November, bringing with it November's typically cold, gloomy weather. Days of solid overcast with rain or sleet, or the infamous 'wintry mix', right?

Just looked at our forecast temps for the next 8 days, including today: 63, 60, 60, 65, 65, 63, 60 & 60. By next Tuesday our avg High temp is 45F.

This is flat-out stealing from Old Man Winter.

I've been saying for the past 5 yrs that the seasons are turning, summer last until October winter starts later and goes further into spring taking some of the summer.

Duchess should reopen her pool. I've got a towel and banana hammock ready.

It was 80 here today. Most people haven't turned their heat on yet. I have.

I'd die in your house. As I imagine you would in mine. I keep my house colder than a morgue all year long. If it's not under 50 degrees in here the heat is not getting turned on.

You're kidding right?

At 80F/26C, my kids were annoying all hell out of me to take them to the beach. If I could find somewhere civilised that was 80F all year round, I'm just about ready to go there to live. Six more months..

My heat wasn't on yesterday. I've been switching it back and forth from heat to AC for over a month now.

That sounds like East Coast weather. AC in the afternoon, heat in the morning.
