It usually takes a week or two until people start to smarten up.
Or longer when it comes to their irrational love of our idiot President.

Doubtful. I'm told I have no common sense. But I'm sure I still have more common sense than the President.

SNOW day was on damn November 15th, not in end of Dec, or in Feb, or Mar!! 76  That sucks!

Now they're forecasting SNOW again on Tuesday 15

Thanksgiving day can't come fast enough!

I remember snow at Thanksgiving once. None predicted here though. It has warmed up, which I am glad since I will be driving a long distance this year.

One funny thing-I signed up for weather alerts-and most of them are "severe weather warnings" well occasionaly I get a severe warning warning me of frost or stagnet air! Which I guess are things that are nice to know, but it always makes me laugh.
To be a feminist is simply to believe that everybody should be treated equally, regardless of sex. It means you think that there should be equality of the sexes economically, socially, politically and personally. When you put it like that, it’s surely difficult for anybody to deny being a feminist. But for such a simple concept, it is often dramatically misunderstood.

Are they loud & obnoxious or just the "ping" of something incoming? I've gotten a few weather alerts that have made me jump out of my skin.

They are only emails. I don't even remember when I signed up for them-probably when some mud slide happened or something and I decided I needed to be "informed".

For 2 yrs now we have had mild winters. This year it's early and the sunspot activity is very low. Lower than its been in quite a while who knew that sunspots had an effect on weather? Imagine that. Some years are better than others I guess.

Those are not sunspots, Maggot. They're called liver spots or old age spots. I'm glad that you're not developing them rapidly this year as in past years.

Sally is one big walking talking liverspot.

A gorgeous, frigid day on the East Coast. This is what the holiday season is supposed to feel like. Yeah, baybay.

It's been raining here for the past couple of days.

I used to hate having to run around in the rain in the city. Now, with droughts and high temps/dry ground contributing to wild fires..........I relish it.

It's also really nice to breathe clean smoke-free air again.

It rained last night thank god, supposed to rain next week. It will be fun riding through the puddles and streams.

It was a brisk "9" frickin degrees here this AM!

And it's not even officially "winter" yet! 76

Aww, c'mon! It's the holiday season. It's obscene for it to be hot. I want to build a fire, drink hot chocolate & smoke weed but I'd mix you a drink, Cars.
