I missed that the first go-around... caught it now. . .
Yeah, it's delusional, dry reading.
Study the background and you learn at first Joseph Smith attempted to sell his manuscript to a publisher in Canada. Had his offer been accepted we wouldn't have Mormonism today as his, "Book of Mormon"
was not intended to be a religious book. When he was turned down he revamped it a bit and Snap! Crackle! Pop! a new religion was born.

I saw Mitt Romney got booed at a conference on the campaign trail. I can't see a mormon running the US. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't know if you can trust him.

How is Mormonism more crazy than any other God-bothering religion?

Christianity limits human thought. Y'all can see the crazy in other religions but don't seem to notice it in yourselves.

No offense, just a view from the outside.

Should we say you can't trust a Christian? That would be more fair.

Didn't know that, OBK. Very interesting.

Here's the thing I have trouble with, I think it's a cult. The secret underwear, Joseph Smith, Polygamy, secret ceremonies. I am just not sure about it. I am sure others are thinking the same or maybe not. I wouldn't vote for scientologist.

Maybe. It's like having a leader who was born to a virgin mother and raised from the dead (after 3 hot damn days) who wants you to eat his body every 4th Sunday and give him 10% of your income even though he's dead.

Oh you must be talking about an ancient Sumerian blood cult. No one in their right mind would do something like that in this these modern times. Right?

That's fine if you want to say that Cracker. You know that I do not take sides politically. I think I have shown that in here. I look at all the evidence objectively. I am wondering if your electorate over there has that same perception. Although, I did see Joel come out and support him. So maybe any concerns they have might not be there. I don't know I am not there in the States. Maybe he is doing really well. From what I saw on the CNN the other day, it showed him getting booed. I thought that would not be a good moment for him on the campaign trail.

Cracker nailed it.

Everyone thinks everyone else is crazy in the name of religion but step back: It's all nuts.

I'm all for funny underwear as long as it works. How do I convert?

Of course this presumes female underwear is complimentary, accessible, or (at least) equally funny.

I'm afraid of anyone who knows the answers. There's no real difference if they believe in science or believe in gods, it's all the same; they stack bodies when it becomes expedient. It might not be healthy to the individual to be as ignorant as I but I'm not going to start stacking bodies anytime soon.
