Murderers should not be able to marry. Or have conjugal visits. Their victims don't get to do those things.

Do we care that this POS was knifed in prison? He's still alive.

Van der Sloot was attacked twice in the last two weeks inside the prison. His last cut, in the kidney area, required 15 stitches and was described by a prison doctor as “profound,” according to prison document obtained by Fox News Latino. He did not require surgery, and the injuries are far less severe than previous reports claiming he was in serious condition.

The 27-year-old Dutch national, who is serving a 28-year prison sentence for the murder of a Peruvian woman, is recovering in the infirmary of one of Peru’s most notorious – and dangerous – prisons. Maximo Altez Navarro, van der Sloot’s lawyer, and the inmate’s wife, who also spoke to Fox News Latino, are demanding that he be moved to Lima or, at the very least, a hospital where he can receive appropriate care.

The top authority in the Peruvian prisons, or INPE, Jose Luis Perez Guadalupe, has disregarded van der Sloot’s claims that he was injured in prison – saying van der Sloot harmed himself to play the victim.

When I first saw the stabbing story, which was taken to the media by Van der Sloot's wife, I figured it was a scam.

It pissed me off that he was reportedly teaching English; having conjugal visits with the relative of one of his inmate buddies; got married in prison and had a baby. What a farce.

Whoever got him transferred so far away from his wife and out of that cushy set-up a couple of months back, hats off!

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the psychopathic liar stabbed himself in order to get more favorable conditions again. But, even if he was attacked by inmates, I think he's right where he belongs.

New witness emerges...

It has been nearly 10 years since Natalee Holloway vanished during a senior class trip to Aruba.

In the decade since she disappeared, few clues have emerged. Her case has frustratingly gone cold; authorities are no closer to solving her disappearance – although prime suspect Joran van der Sloot is serving a 38-year term in aPeruvian prison for the murder of college student Stephany Flores.

Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years since Natalee disappeared. It's gotta be a terrible burn on top of tremendous pain for the Holloways to see Van der Sloot get married, father a child, etc...

Anyway, I hope this self-proclaimed eye-witness to Natalee's burial is legit and the Holloways can finally have some answers.

It sounds kinda sketchy to me. But, I'm crossing my fingers that Mr. Holloway gets some vital information during his visit to Aruba.

Natalee Holloway Remains Located?

--A new tip in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway has led to the discovery of human remains in Aruba

--Those remains are now undergoing DNA testing with results expected in the next month, Natalee's father Dave revealed today

--The tip in the case came from a man named Gabriel, who lived with Joran van der Sloot's best friend John

--Gabriel claims van der Sloot told John that he gave a drink spiked with the date rape drug GHB to Natalee, 18, who choked on her own vomit

--Van der Sloot allegedly called his father Paulus at that point, who got a burlap bag and stomped on the body to get it to fit before burying the teen in a park

--Paulus died in 2010 and van der Sloot is serving 28 years in a Peruvian prison for murdering Stephany Flores Ramírez, 21, in 2010

--Van der Sloot is facing extortion charges in the US for allegedly promising to show Beth Holloway, Natalee's mother, where the body of her daughter was buried for $25K

I'm not buying that she "choked to death on her own vomit" - it's too passive, and Joran is VIOLENT.

For Natalie's parents and all who cared about her, I hope it's her.

I don't know how people go on after losing a child but some of those people are admirable. Somehow I doubt I'd be so strong.

I agree. Sadly, I think it's much more likely that Natalee died a violent and bloody death too, just like Stephany Flores. Stephany had drugs in her system and the autopsy showed she'd suffered a cranial fracture, significant injuries to her face and neck, and signs of asphyxiation.

If the remains found in the park in Aruba turn out to be Natalee's, I hope they're in tact and some physical evidence can be gathered to determine COD. Van der Sloot is a predatory psychopath; wish he was on death row.

Yeah I remember back in maybe 2011 they were doing DNA tests on a skull thinking it could be her. I hope this time it is.

I've personally thought that Joran's father had SOMETHING to do with her body not being found. Whether he helped (like this Gabriel dude is saying) or arranged a boat to take her body and dump it in the ocean (I thought this was more likely) or something like that.

The other thing that lets me believe that her body would be found one day is that other than Joran, his father, and those 2 brothers Joran was supposedly with (Deepak, I think their name was?) SOMEBODY has to know something....and I had hoped their conscience would end up getting the best of them.

Also, how about this dumb bitch who married Van DerSloot and had his baby whole he's in prison....i wonder how long it'll take him to kill her

That woman who married Van der Sloot and had a child with him must be mental, koko. If he ever gets out of prison, I could easily see her pissing Joran off and losing her life.

He's already served about five years of his 28 year sentence in Peru. He'll still be relatively young when he's released if he's not convicted of something else. He's eligible for release in 2038, at which time he would only by 49 years old.

Hopefully, Natalee will be found, Joran will be found guilty of her murder, and there will be no chance that he'll ever walk free again to kill her or any other woman. Like Peru, Aruba has no death penalty. But.....if he gets convicted of 'aggravated' murder in Aruba, he could at least get the max punishment of life in prison.

Natalee's dad Dave Holloway is also interviewed in the Oxygen series and describes how the tip that led to the recent discovery of remains in an Aruba park differed from the many others that didn't lead anywhere. Mr. Holloway also talks about his 12-year ordeal and Natalee's plans and goals. Story, pics and video: http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/201...or-me.html

I don't have a whole lot of faith in the public statements and actions of the Aruba police, based on their early handling of Natalee's case. So, I don't know whether to trust this claim or not. In this instance, I hope the prosecutor's claim is false.

Snip:
A claim from Natalee Holloway’s father last week that a set of unidentified human remains were found in Aruba is now under scrutiny after one of the country’s prosecutors said the bones belong to an animal.

Aruba Public Prosecutor Dorean Kardol told HuffPost Friday that “no human remains were found” in the location the father flagged to police. Kardol added the only remains investigators dug up in the area were “from animals.”

Human remains found at a site in Aruba where missing teenager Natalee Holloway may have been buried belong to a young woman of eastern European descent, according to preliminary tests, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The breakthrough, made during the early stages of DNA testing, means the Holloway family - which has eastern European heritage- may be one step closer to finding out the agonizing truth behind their daughter's disappearance. The initial finding is still to be confirmed by further testing.

The discovery was made as part of a documentary (top right) which followed a tip that a John Ludwick (bottom right) friend of suspect Joran van der Sloot (pictured with Ludwick) had confessed to another man, an informant known as Gabriel (inset) about moving her body.
