I don't have any mountains here, goddamnit. There isn't even anything that could be compared to a big hill. The fighter jets scream overhead playing their pretend war games & practicing other bullshit because our topography resembles the middle east. I LOVE the mountains & Ima be spending the day in them in just a few more weeks.

Did you see any of the coffee houses where one can buy a lil' weed and sit there and smoke it? I have a friend that has Amsterdam as her dream destination. Many of the things that are illegal here are often overlooked there and they have very little crime. I've read that prostitutes stand in windows plying their "wares", is that true?

We went into a few coffee shops there. You can buy the weed and roll it up inside the shop, but you can't smoke it inside for some reason. People just smoke it while walking down the street and no one seems to think twice about it. I even saw a couple of old ladies smoking it.

The prostitutes in the windows are in the Red Light District. They are in their bras and panties and range from old and fat to young and beautiful. It's a big tourist attraction, we walked through there at night and not one time did I feel unsafe. You have to watch out for pick pockets and the crazy taxi drivers, but other than that the city is beautiful and the crime rate is low.
