Houston--boy missing since Christmas Eve
#41
I hope all three (mom, stepdad, Black Pat) lose their freedom over this. I don't know if I want to know what they did to that little boy that would require burning. Mom should have made sure he was safe. That's what moms do.

HOUSTON YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!

at this point, i don't feel comfortable reporting anything not from LE. it's all a damn mass of confusion and TERRIBLE MEDIA REPORTING. is the woman in the photo the suspect or someone else?? no name released as of 7PM here. SHE WAS NOT IN CUFFS WHICH WOULD BE ROUTINE.

Houston Chronicle:
Late today, angela Davis knew little officially about the fate of her son, who disappeared before 2 p.m. Christmas Eve. Police had found the body of a child in a culvert a few miles to the east of the little cottage, but the medical examiner had not officially identified the badly burned body as Jonathan’s.

Angela Davis also knew that police had a suspect "mona" in custody, who she’d met only once before, on the night of Jonathan’s disappearance, she said.

The woman was friends with her roommate and Jonathan’s frequent babysitter, Sharon Ennamorato.

Angela Davis said she couldn’t figure out any reason why anyone would want to hurt her fair-haired boy.

She said Jonathan's stepfather had passed a polygraph about the disappearance. "I do not believe he had anything to do with my son’s abduction," she said. THEY ALL SAY THAT SHIT. I WANT TO HEAR IT FROM LE.

But she lashed out at HPD. "They didn’t respond fast enough," she said. "To me, they acted like they didn’t care."
THAT REALLY INFURIATES ME! THE BITCH TOLD LIES TO THE POLICE AND EXPECTS ACTION BASED ON HER LIES??

WHY? WHAT POSSIBLE MOTIVE? will this come back to the mother and/or step-dad?
Investigators spent hours Wednesday questioning Nelson. They believe she took Jonathan to her home near U.S. 59 and Laura Koppe, where she likely killed him and burned his body, said HPD homicide investigator Mike Miller.

He said a search of Nelson's house turned up an "incredible amount of evidence" that points to Nelson as the killer, but investigators are still trying to discern her motive.

i woke up at 0300 thinking about this boy, and found there has been some movement in case. the burned child WAS IDed as Jonathan by M.E. Signs_173
an actual arrest was made later in day, not earlier as reported. which is why no cuffs or booking info as i indicated.

i'll try to get more today on the woman charged, Mona Yvette Nelson.
she's a boxer, maintenance worker for the apts., lesbian, one photo below shows her with Houston mayor Parker (blue stripes). she has a criminal record. Nelson’s most serious crime was a robbery she committed back in 1984. She served a 10-year probated sentence. Records also show the woman's criminal background includes arrests for marijuana possession and making a terroristic threat.

remarks from child's Uncle in article here:
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman has been charged with capital murder in connection with the disappearance and death of 12-year-old Jonathan Foster. He had been missing since Christmas Eve.

Mona Nelson spent hours Wednesday at HPD headquarters downtown being questioned by police. They told us she admits to being with Jonathan Foster, but that she does not admit to killing him. Nelson, 44, has been charged with capital murder and is in custody with no bond.

Police told us that the results of an autopsy Wednesday revealed that a burned body found Tuesday morning about five miles away from the family apartment on North Shepherd and 43rd Street was identifed as Jonathan Foster.

the mother denies knowing Mona Nelson for more than a few days. Nelson has been charged with capital murder. Police believe she kidnapped and killed the 12-year-old boy on Christmas Eve, then dumped his badly burned body in a ditch in northeast Houston. The 5th grader from Durham Elementary had barely gotten to know the neighborhood. He had just moved back in with his mother a few weeks ago.

We spoke to Jonathan's uncle in Missouri by phone. When we asked him if he feared for Jonathan's safety, Glenn Scrimsher replied, "At some points, yes, but I was hoping with my mom close by that no harm would befall him."

For four years, Jonathan lived with Scrimsher, his wife and their five children on their farm in Missouri.

"Jonathan was a wonderful kid. He was like my son," said Scrimsher.

He says though Jonathan was a little behind for his age, he thrived with his family. At 6 years old, they took him in, off his mother's hands.

When we asked him how Jonathan's mother was not capable, Scrimsher said, "Narcotics, drugs, alcohol; just wasn't fit to take care of him," said Scrimsher.

In November 2009, Jonathan returned to Texas to live with his grandmother. It was not his uncle's decision. He did not know the boy was living with his sister again. He says he has never heard of Mona Nelson, but for a year he has not been at ease.

"All I can say is that I don't think he was in a good place to begin with," Scrimsher said.

there will be a first appearance in court for nelson today. and a presser later. i am hoping more information comes out.

edit to add: A judge in probable cause court heard the case against Mona Nelson, 44, this morning. She's accused of killing fifth-grader Jonathan Foster, who disappeared on Christmas Eve. Nelson wasn't present this morning due to an unspecified medical issue. Documents also say police found burned carpet and ties consistent with that found on Foster's body.
Nelson was friends with Jonathan's mother's roommate, Sharon Ennamorato. who also was Jonathan's frequent babysitter.

In 1984, Nelson was charged with aggravated robbery and later pleaded guilty in exchange for 10 years' probation, court records show. In 1991, her probation was revoked and she was sent to prison. It was unclear from court documents how she violated probation or how long she spent behind bars.

it is reported she admits to driving the truck with the child's burned body. that's all so far. so if she didn't kill him, will she name someone else?

Jonathan's stepfather, David Davis, said the arrest does not bring him much peace because nothing will bring Jonathan back.

"What kind of monster is this? Burnt my baby in a ditch? They burnt my baby on Christmas," Davis said. "There's no more Christmas. They're done for this family. What kind of monster is that? You get her!"

Nelson was arrested in the neighborhood where Jonathan was last seen, police said. She is a family acquaintance or a friend of Jonathan's family, police said.

Davis said he did not know Nelson well.

"I don't know her. I saw her before, though. She looks like a dude," Davis said.

Detectives said surveillance video from a business near the place Jonathan's body was found led them to Nelson. Police said they showed Nelson the video and she admitted that it was her vehicle in the video, but did not confess to anything else.

Nelson gave police permission to search her home before Jonathan's body was identified. Investigators said they found welding equipment in her home and she may have worked as a welder.

Davis said he knows exactly what he wants.

"I want vengeance for my boy," he said. "I'm sick. I don't know what I'm feeling right now. I want, I want vengeance!"

Davis and Jonathan's mother, Angela Davis, were questioned extensively in the days after the disappearance.

"They drilled me like I thought I was in Vietnam," David Davis said. "I know that's their job. 'It's you, it's you, it's you,' they kept saying. I told them just hammer me for a thousand days, a thousand nights. I love my boy."

David Davis said Jonathan was a sweet child who had many friends.

"He was just full of life," he said. "He was 12, but he wasn't on the 14 side. He didn't have his pants on the ground, he didn't play no punk. He played with all the little kids. Everybody knew him and everybody loves him."

A makeshift memorial has grown outside the Villanueva Apartments.

That dude is retarded. He was just pissed because his wife won't let him open up the used Xbox under the tree. It ruined his Christmas.

Jesus. what horror. i just listened to Houston PD presser. Homicide Det. was emotional. worst thing he ever saw in 14 years. they were very open about how they had been so shaken and affected by this murder. they actually said nelson is a 'cold remorseless souless murderer'. they were so candid, i hope it doesn't bite them in the ass at trial. nobody knows a motive. they think she acted alone. she has tried to implicate others.
it appears the little boy was burned with WELDING EQUIPMENT! no accelerants present on body. but she had welding gear & a fucking blow torch! oh God. that poor baby, i don't know how he died, but i hope he didn't suffer horribly.

if not for the video of her truck, they may never have caught her.
investigators found burned carpet at Nelson's home and discovered twine that appeared to match the string that was used to bind Jonathan's hands.
they are concerned she may be a serial killer.
Police also said they believe Nelson is a a predator who has committed murder before and that they don't believe her brutality begins and ends with Jonathan.

but in my opinion, an experienced killer does not dump a body in view of a camera. or leave a pile of evidence in their own home.

i think the parents , mom and step-dad, are druggies, ignorant assholes, liars and useless. but i am doubting they took part in this perversion. the child never should have been returned to them. he should have, would have been, playing with his Christmas toys right now. it's their associates/lifestyle that put the boy in harm's way.

some history on nelson.

Houston Chronicle:

Mona Yvette Nelson, 44, pleaded guilty to fleeing the scene of an armed robbery in a hail of gunfire in 1986, then five years later trafficked Mexican nationals for $600 apiece sending her to prison for three years, according to court documents obtained by the Houston Chronicle.

In 1992, Nelson asked a judge to shorten her sentence to allow her to go through a "boot camp" program or even enlist in the U.S. army.

"I’m aware that I was sentenced to 10 yrs incarceration, but I would very much like to be productive," she wrote.

The request was denied.

In 1986, she pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery and received 10 years probation after she and a friend held up a barbecue restaurant in Houston with a rifle, according to court records.

When the robbery went sour, the pair fled as the restaurant owner shot at the car.

Police stopped the duo after a brief chase and arrested Nelson and her cohort.

On July 30, 1991, U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested Nelson at 4 a.m. in Kenedy County with five illegal immigrants from Mexico. One of the Mexican men told authorities Nelson had picked them up in Brownsville for a fee, according to court records.

She took the men north, stopping short of a checkpoint for the immigrants to get out and go through the woods in an attempt to circumvent the checkpoint.

Agents began watching Nelson, who was parked north of the checkpoint. The five men eventually emerged from the brush and got into the car. The group was arrested shortly thereafter.

Nelson’s probation was revoked for the violation and she served six months concurrent with the 10-year sentence imposed. She was paroled after three years.

Nelson has a lengthy criminal record in Texas. In 1986, she received 10 years deferred adjudication for an aggravated robbery-serious bodily injury case out of Harris County. She violated the terms of the deferred adjudication and was sent to prison in 1991, where she served three years.

In 1997, she pled guilty to misdemeanor theft by check case out of Daingerfield, Texas, and served 30 days in jail. In 2002, she served 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge out of McKinney, Texas.

In 2005, she was charged with making a terroristic threat to another woman and with misdemeanor criminal mischief in Mount Vernon, Texas. She served one year probation and two months in jail for the threat and a concurrent sentence for the mischief charge.

I thought Texas was thought to be tougher than most when it came to punishment for crime. How the hell does someone get ten yrs. probation for a holdup involving a gun, PLUS she's a repeat offender. We need a better plan, people.

give me that good old race card! 44

black panther activist Quannel X met with Nelson for about an hour Thursday afternoon upon her request. He says she does not yet have an attorney.

"I believe Nelson did play a role in what happened, but I believe her role is disposing of the body....She said it was the stepfather, David, who paid her money to dispose of a container that he gave her," said Quannel X.

Quannel X says David Davis paid Nelson $20 to throw away the container. Nelson told Quannel X she didn't know what was in the container because she was drunk.

take a few minutes to view this video news segment...mona was interviewed in jail by a reporter. and bits of police comments also----->

Click2Houston:
Child Protective Services officials said Thursday that the family of a 12-year-old boy who police said was kidnapped and killed on Christmas Eve has a record with them.

Officials said that in December 2005 there was an allegation of neglected supervision and physical abuse of Jonathan and his half sister when they were living in Galveston County. When CPS went to investigate the claims, both children were living with other relatives and the case was closed.

In Houston in December 2006, there was a second allegation of neglect, physical abuse and medical neglect of both Jonathan and his half sister, officials said. The case was closed because Jonathan had moved to his uncle's home out of state and his half sister was living with her grandmother.

Glenn Scrimsher, Jonathan's uncle, said he offered to let Jonathan live with him, his wife and his five children because Angela Davis was having problems with drug abuse.

Jonathan lived in Missouri from the age of 6 until he was 11.

HE LEFT HOUSTON?? where is he?? he's not there to help his wife, the mother? i find this very strange.

Jonathan's stepfather, David Davis, said he had to leave Houston because he could not handle seeing a memorial to Jonathan outside the apartment complex near where Jonathan was taken.

"Right now I am falling, and I got a friend holding me up," he said.

Medical neglect is usually filed by schools because parents won't medicate kids with severe ADHD. A lady at work got in trouble for this. She also lost a bunch of weight, so we think she was taking her son's medication instead of giving it to him.

Severe ADHD is tied to drinking, smoking, and doing drugs during pregnancy. People wonder why there are so many kids with ADHD now. It isn't a mystery. They are crack babies or lush babies.

Should you return kids to violent homes? NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. The system failed this boy and his sister. She lived through it so far, he didn't. I hope like hell the sister is still at the grandmother's. I don't know why she would keep the girl and get rid of the boy. Shame on these white trash mutherfuckers.
