My mailman is Lon Ley a Jap that has escaped a tyranical government that exposes the common man to high rads of atomic radiation. His wife became sterile on the trip over so he tossed her out the fantail of the steamer he jumped on. It was a horrible experiance but he has learned to live with it.

No negroid slam was intended with the word "Pick" "mapix" would have been a negative derogatory phrase if that was the intent. This site does not nor will it endorse nor impend the free speech afforded the adult community throughout the use of the word "Pick".

This is a WTF? story...

An armed woman who entered a home in north Cherokee County was shot and killed by the homeowner early Friday morning, officials said.

Sheriff Roger Garrison said the woman, Barbara Smith, was a former co-worker of the homeowner, was dressed head to toe in camouflage and that her face was covered. She entered the home through the garage door after the man's wife left for work, Garrison said.

Smith, 53, confronted the homeowner, Fred Stanley Whitmore, and the two struggled, he said. During the struggle, Smith was fatally shot once in the head, Garrison said.

The incident took place on Bethany Manor Way north of Canton.

Garrison said Smith and Whitmore had worked together in the health care profession, but said there is no indication of a motive.

"It's an understatement to say that it's just a bizarre incident," Garrison said. "The person that obviously knows the most about the situation is deceased, so it's going to be very difficult to ever determine exactly what the motive may have been."

Garrison said Smith would not likely face charges. "There's no indication to anything at this point other than the fact that it's a case of self-defense," he said. "Based upon the dress [of the intruder], it would have been virtually impossible for him to have known who this individual was."

This week, the Georgia Supreme Court agreed to take up a grisly case that may be of interest to exurban land developers, hinterlands business owners and anyone else who dwells in what is known as the "wildland urban interface"; that is, the place where nature and development meet.

In October 2007, 83-year-old Gwyneth Williams was house-sitting for her daughter and son-in-law in their Savannah-area suburb while the couple were in Europe.

Neighbors found Williams floating dead in one of the many lagoons that dot the swampy coastal development, known as The Landings. A medical examiner determined that an alligator had bitten off Williams' forearms, her hands and her right foot. A trapper eventually found an 8-foot alligator, killed it and found Williams' body parts inside the creature's stomach.

The family sued the subdivision's homeowners association, arguing that it should have done a better job ensuring the safety of visitors to a place where alligators are common.

A key issue the Georgia court will address is whether the homeowners' association should be shielded from the lawsuit under a doctrine known as "animals ferae naturae."

A "ferae naturae" animal is a wild one, as opposed to a domesticated one. Walter W. Ballew III, the attorney for the homeowners' association, cited a Texas appellate court decision in arguing that the doctrine means that a "landowner cannot be liable for the acts of animals ferae naturae, that is indigenous wild animals, occurring on his or her property unless the landowner has actually reduced the wild animals to possession or control, or introduced a non-indigenous animal to the area."

Very sad, and awfully creepy. Still, it kind of pisses me off that the wild animal, doing wild animal things, had to be shot for that.

And then again, it would make a very nice handbag.

It doesn't say how she came to be the victim of a walking wallet and matching shoes. Did she get too close to a lagoon? Did it follow her home? Was she skinny dipping in it's watery living room?

Shoplifting cases are usually forgettable, but a Cobb arrest warrant issued Thursday is pregnant with intrigue.

According to Cobb police, a woman identified as Alexandrea Brooks infiltrated the Walgreens at 3033 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta and made off with 26 boxes of condoms and an ovulation test.

And, perhaps in an homage to the film “Raising Arizona,” a box of Huggies baby wipes.

Total value of paradoxical purloined prophylactics: $562.68.

Walgreens workers saw Brooks enter the store Sept. 11, fill a shopping basket with condoms and march out the front door. She got into a vehicle, and the driver took off, but not before workers wrote down a tag number. Police eventually tracked down the driver, who gave police Brooks’ name.

Here’s a complete tally of what was taken:

5 boxes of TrojanMagnum gold collection condoms, a box of Trojan Ultra Ribbed Condoms, 5 boxes of Trojan Magnum Ecstasy Condoms, 6 boxes ofTrojan Magnum fire/ice Condoms, 6 boxes of Trojan Magnum Thin Condoms, 2 boxes of Trojan Magnum Lube, a box of TrojanUltra Thin/ Sens Condoms, a Walgreens Organic Cotton Balls, a Huggies Natural Care wipes, and a First Response Digital OvulationTest Kit* 5 boxes of Trojan Magnum gold collection condoms

* 1 box of Trojan Ultra Ribbed Condoms

* 5 boxes of Trojan Magnum Ecstasy Condoms

* 6 boxes of Trojan Magnum fire/ice Condoms

* 6 boxes of Trojan Magnum Thin Condoms

* 2 boxes of Trojan Magnum Lube

* 1 box of Trojan Ultra Thin/ Sens Condoms

* Walgreens Organic Cotton Balls

* Huggies Natural Care wipes

* 1 First Response Digital Ovulation Test Kit

Brooks is an old hand at shoplifting, according to multiple Cobb warrants. In September, in what may be a desperate attempt to turn back the hands of time, she visited a Mableton CVS and took nine Oil of Olay products.

In 2009, she was charged with battery for head butting a man several times, causing his face and nose to swell.

She sounds like a tough, non-paying, customer.

Federal immigration authorities are targeting 1,256 state prisoners convicted of murder, rape and other offenses for possible deportation, documents obtained under Georgia’s Open Records Act show.

The strain illegal immigrants are placing on Georgia’s prisons and other taxpayer-funded resources is at the center of the debate over the state’s tough new immigration law.

Georgia doesn't track the immigration status of inmates, so the number of illegal immigrants that are in Georgia prisons is not known. State officials, however, do track those who could face deportation once they are released from prison. That number, which includes both legal and illegal immigrants, was 1,256 this month. And they include a wide range of criminals, including robbers, child molesters and drug dealers, state records show.

Federal immigration officials have issued detainers for these inmates. The detainers ask state officials to notify U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement before these prisoners are released and to hold them for up to 48 more hours. That will give ICE time to possibly take them into custody and seek to deport them.

On average, it costs $50.17 to hold each inmate per day in a Georgia prison, including state and federal taxpayer dollars, prisoner fees and other funding sources, public records show. Using that figure, it costs $22.9 million to imprison 1,256 people annually in Georgia.

A Snellville dog was hit by a car and injured Sunday night after being given LSD, police said.

Snellville police Capt. Harold Thomas said Nicholas Modrich and Jamie Hughes, both 25, will face drug charges upon release from a local hospital. The couple may also face animal cruelty charges.

Thomas said Snellville police were alerted to the situation by reports of a naked man and woman running along Pinehurst Road at about 8 p.m. The couple fled to their home in the 2100 block of Pinehurst Road and Modrich answered the door naked after police knocked, said Thomas.

"They were tripping pretty hard," said Thomas.

During questioning, the man and woman said they had taken LSD and had given some to Oscar, who was missing. Police determined Oscar was a dog and began a search, but soon learned the animal had been hit by a vehicle on a nearby road.

After being hit, Oscar bit Modrich's mother and brother, said Thomas. Gwinnett Animal Control took possession of the animal, but Modrich's family requested the dog be taken to a private veterinarian, police said. His medical condition is not known.

Inside the home, police found a bong, marijuana and Gummi worms, which were allegedly used to take the LSD, said Thomas. No LSD was found in the home.
