I don't agree. Playing Grand Theft Auto and seeing a set of tits on TV is not going to make a normal kid go ape shit. Kids that do what you described have much deeper issues and it probally starts with the parents.

Agree.

I hate the whole, "Violent video games" arguement. Especially when there is a violent movie industry, TV industry that is just as bad. I spent enough time in the gaming world to know that people who go and do fucked up shit-were already fucked up themselves.

I personally believe violent video games desensitize people to killing people. And of course movies and shows I also believe the amount of service people who have PTSD compared to times past is a direct result of the realities of combat versus the video game mentality. Seeing people killed in real life is not entertaining and like the death of a loved one reminds and emphasises your own mortality.

I dont agree unless you're weak minded. If you can't see the fun in beating an old lady with a baseball bat in Grand Theft Auto, you can't see the fun in anything. It's just a stupid game that would not make a normal minded person desensitized to killing anything.

Well that's not good, but clearly they are already off their fucking whacker. I think that's how Layne Staley from Alice In Chains died, he played video games all day in between shooting up.
