Lisa Irwin 10 Mos. missing. MO
#21
That sucks.

Does anyone know if the baby was walking? Ten month old babies usually don't walk yet, but maybe she did. Did the little one wander off or was she thrown down the drop off?

I hate it when children go missing. You never know if they are with someone who is hurting them or if they are deceased. You don't know whether you should hate the parents or not.

Some pictures show Lisa standing by herself, so she may have been toddling, but not likely walking well enough to wander off or reach a door to get outside. Plus, she was reportedly in her crib when last seen; probably too high off the ground for her to get out safely and wander.

This one could be an adbuction or something done by someone in the house. Too early to tell. I do wish we knew what prompted rescue/recovery teams to search that particular area. They had to get a tip from someone (mom, dude who was reportedly seen with a baby at midnight, dogs, who?).

Dad's name was reported on a morning newscast at Jeremy Irwin. Mom's name is Debbie, but I don't know the last name, don't think it's the same. The two boys in the home are mom's from a previous relationship. I'll check a little more.

KCFD search & rescue crews are finished at the hill at 34th Terrace & Myrtle. Nothing significant found.

I found Jeremy Irwin at the address listed in the news releases. He is 28. I am using a very basic background searcher; it doesn't show any criminal history for Jeremy L. Irwin on Lister Street. It also doesn't show Lisa Irwin among his relatives (maybe too young for the database to be updated) and no possible relatives named Debbie. I don't believe mom and dad are married, but can't be sure. No way to look up any info on mom without her last name.

Jeremy's name was already mentioned and checked in this thread. But thanks for the 'recap'. Again.

The link to the white pages posted upthread gives an error message, so I looked up additional info with a different searcher. The post upthread didn't mention anything about the mother's name, the family relationships, or the accessible criminal background. Additional rather than "recapped" information as far as I can tell.

Feel free not to comment just for the sake of commenting, or I can ignore your irrelevant jabs, again. No matter either way.

My 'jabs' are far from irrelevant. But thanks for trying. Now go write another 2000 word post 'recapping' what everyone already knows....but not before reading it all on ws first.

Now go ignore me like a good little doggie.

Let's take this elsewhere if you feel strongly about it. This is about a missing 10 month old, not some problem you have with my posts; if they're too long for you, don't read them. I have a basic subscription to "BeenVerified" where I pulled the data and newsblocks with key words on cases I follow. I don't know what "ws" search engine entails, but I don't use it.

What does that usually mean?

Sad news. I guess that means they don't expect people to be on the lookout for Lisa? I hope I'm wrong about that.

From KCMO Police: "The AMBER Alert system is designed to raise awareness early in an investigation to alert the public in an attempt to recover a juvenile in danger. Although the investigation and search for Lisa Irwin continues, an active AMBER Alert is no longer necessary in this case. Lisa Irwin is still considered a Missing/Endangered Juvenile.

Officers and detectives will continue to work throughout the night in an attempt to find Lisa Irwin. This is an on-going investigation and will continue to be actively investigated until Lisa Irwin is found.

We urge anyone with information to call 911 or contact the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477."

Yes, it is about a missing child. Not the doghair show. By all means, take it elsewhere. In fact, I encourage it.

I live in Kansas City, and this story hurts to the core. I hope she is alive, but the longer we go with no news...the hope dwindles.

The Live Blog for the local station here said they have a homicide in the Northland, which is where she was abducted from.

Please don't let it be her!!!

we'll be at 24 hours soon. not good for survival statistically. but the radio/scanner/whatever saying a 'homicide' probably does not mean a found child's body. they'd go to a private channel for that.

Prima, Do you really need to do that here? I happen to find Hair's reports of the latest news helpful, since I don't have time to read every thing posted. It sounds to me that somebody has a problem with WS...which I assume means that other website were normal people pretend to be CSI via the Web.

the fact is, and this is a general statement, i don't appreciate posters dragging ws and JQ posts over here. this is not aimed at any one person. this has been something i have stated before in re: a number of people.
clearly that does not apply to what is gleaned from online news outlets/sources.

reported homicide was a woman's body located.
