Lisa Irwin 10 Mos. missing. MO
#41
No worries - I have no problem with Prima and we both agree that this is about Little Lisa.

I'm taking a break, but will continue followiing these cases in the news and always hope for the best for the victims, just like everyone here on LC's Cell Block...

I am on KMBC's live blog, and they took off the update about the "homicide". I think there was a lot of confusion about it being on the blog that has been all about Lisa.

Harvest, don't perpetuate it if you think it so unseemly.

Police say the parents are staying with relatives after being interviewed until 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Spokesman Steve Young says the questioning did not lead to any solid clues about possible suspects.

Police spokesman Darin Snapp says detectives were meeting early Wednesday to determine the next step in the investigation.

another presser at 2.

Breaking: Lisa Irwin's family will speak at the 2 PM news conference. We will stream it live here.

i am interested in whether the parents have been polygraphed. that would be routine.

the mother is Deborah Netz, father Jeremy Irwin.

Grandparents of missing 10 mo. old say they haven't heard from #LisaIrwin 's parents since police took them in for questioning.

presser, nothing really to add. parents not in custody, are cooperative.

Capt. Young: At this point, we have next to nothing to go on. We're not ruling anything out.

I've held off commenting because I don't really have a feeling one way or another about this case. But I am wondering about the parents' silence. Do the parents want to make a public plea and LE is advising otherwise? Does LE want the parents to make a public plea and the parents are refusing or putting it off? Or are LE and the parents in agreement that there is no reason to make a plea (because they know Lisa is dead or they have reason to think this would harm the chances of recovering Lisa???)?

parents will be at 2 PM presser.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Hours after blue eyed Lisa Irwin was last seen inside her crib, investigators carried out two bags full of what looked like baby items, possibly clothes.

Officers with K9 units and mounted patrol returned to the family's home around 7 Tuesday night.

They took the two bags of evidence and then left.

Thanks for posting that Riley. It is a good article and answered one of the questions I was about to ask: Why are the investigators wearing protective closing?

Answer was in the article referenced:
"Investigators in protective clothing entered Lisa's home Wednesday morning. Search dogs were also canvassing the scene."

"The protective plastic suits are being worn to hide investigators' scents from the dogs."
