I figured you probably weren't, but I relished the lame pun.

Stuffed baked potatoes. I poke holes in the potatoes and fill them with sliced garlic before baking them and then top with butter, sourcream, cheese sauce and smoked chopped pork or brisket. It's only about 5000 calories.

Broiled Tilapia, fresh steamed asparagus, twice baked potato and cheddar cheese.

It's simple but I don't have a lot of time to cook today.

It's hot here, but I've got all of the windows and the door open; gonna work the oven tonight anyway.

New York steak with grilled onions; a huge russet potato with sour cream, chives and extra sharp cheddar; and a spinach salad with walnuts and raspberry vinagrette (plus a couple of glasses of cab).

Cheeseburgers, sauteed fresh mushrooms, homemade potato salad and macaroni salad, cookie brownie bars(from a mix), and diet pepsi.

Sounds good, Clang, if you sans the mushrooms and spike the Diet Pepsi.

We'll both likely be a few pounds heavier tomorrow, but I've got a healthy menu for the rest of the week (except for 2 birthday restaurant dinners; I can never resist the sour dough). 50

I'll be able spike the Diet Pepsi when I'm cooking for just myself. If there wasn't a whole red onion between the potato salad and macaroni salad I probably would have sauteed some onions to go with the mushrooms.

I don't know if my menu will be healthy for the rest of the week. I don't plan my menu that far in advance. Maybe when I'm living by myself again, I'll try to eat more healthy.

I don't usually plan either, but I went to the grocery store today and bought way more perishables than usual because the fruit and vegetables all looked so good. I hate wasting money, so I'll be eating healthier for the next week because I'm a cheapskate (and lighter feels better in the summer).

Don't blame you for stocking up on the fruits and veggies, I love fresh fruit especially pineapple, peaches, honeydew melon, strawberrries, oranges, and blueberries all of of which I've purchased andor eaten in the last few weeks.

Why do people love artificial sweetners so much? They should have got the memo by now that they're never going to lose any weight from it, not only that but it tastes like shit. I'd rather drink from the garden hose.

I was looking for popsicles the other day and they were all sugar free. Pissed me the fuck off. It's not like I eat popsicles all the time, I'd like to have the choice of real sugar or aspartame.

Artificial sweetner tastes better than real sugar, which I find tastes way too sweet. Or maybe I just grew accustomed to the taste when my diabetic mom used to buy the diet soda when I was a kid, and it was cheaper(with having 5 sons to feed) than buying both diet and regular. It also helps me since I'm borderline diabetic myself.

This is where your mom went wrong and the reason you're a butterball. Ice water would have been perfectly fine.

Nah, the reason I'm a butterball is because my mom allowed us to eat second and third helpings of food at dinnertime.Smiley_emoticons_smile

I fried chorizo with chopped onions and garlic, added a can of white beans, water and rice. Covered and simmered untill rice was tender and fluffy. Melted mozzerella on top of rice and topped with hot sauce and two over easy eggs.
