what's for dinner?
(09-08-2020, 03:30 PM)cannongal Wrote: Frozen 3 color cheese tortellini
feta cheese chunks
cheddar cheese , cut into bite sized chunks
Salami,  if you get t at the deli, ask them to cut it into quarter inch slices, the chunk it.
cherry tomatoes, halved
English cucumber,  halved the cut into chunks
I black olives
Greek dressing, bottled.
Fyi, cook the pasta until just done, otherwise they fall apart.

I have a question, is the Greek dressing necessary or can it be a personal preference? I have Olive Garden house Italian and I'm wondering if I can use that in place of the Greek dressing. It should be fine, right? I'm not someone who should experiment in the kitchen.

Any type of vinaigrette is fine.  Greek is a personal preference for me.

I'm having cheese & crackers, some grapes and a couple gherkin pickles. Aren't y'all green with envy?

I love a little gherkin pickle with a chunk of cheddar. And rye bread. It goes so well together.

Not even sure what torttellini looks like. Will it fit in a glove box? What do you use as bait?

No, not yet, but I intend to just as soon as I have everything I need. I copied the recipe, it's sitting right here. I should probably put it in my handbag.

I don't understand why more people don't pickle stuff. It's harvest season and it's real easy. I'm doing some pickles this week and if I can find some fresh beets I will do those too.

I dont know how to pickle anything. It couldn't be that hard, I know you need pickling spice, vinegar and a jar. I've just never tried it before for some reason. I have 10 huge beets in the back of my fridge because that damn Misfits Market keeps sending them to me, I dont know how many fucking beets they think I need. I can mail them to you, Maggot. Pickle them and then send them back to me.
