I loved Kareem Abdul-Jabbar on the basketball court, and I think he's a very sharp and articulate political observer/analyst/writer as well.
I just finished reading his piece in TIME about Kim Davis and her supporters (and their maligning of the Constitution); nodded my head in agreement all the way trough it.

I don't know that I'm special, I think the majority of people think she's a big fat asshole.
I'll still take a special title though.
I just think that if I was a deputy clerk while she was making a big deal over it, I'd call the gay couple over and marry them myself. They're definitely allowed to do that as long as they're a notary, and as far as filing it at the court it doesn't seem they need that cunts signature.

I thought you only needed a notary to get married. Then file the license application. Then go fuck like rabbits then come home and fight over money 4 weeks later.

I believe that's how it works. You can have any notary perform a marriage ceremony and any deputy clerk can file it at the court, you don't need the clerk of circuit court signature and approval.

That's right, the Oath Keepers are armed and loaded -- rolling into Rowan County, Kentucky for Kim's return to work next week. They'll make sure she doesn't get tossed back in the poky if she decides that God just won't allow her to allow other people to follow the law and do their jobs by issuing marriage licenses to gay couples, even without her name on the licenses. That's their claim anyway.

I see her as a Nazi sympathizer. I see a person who looks at gays as a subspecies not to be viewed as an equal.
