No one loves their kids more or is prouder of their children than me ...with that being said I have to say that having mine grown, moved out and off our payroll) is heavenly... often pick up my husband and I dinner on way home from work so no cooking responsibilities....a great time of life must say...even though we all still have problems life throws at everyone it's a great time of life. Plus all 3 are very capable and independent so can figure out their own solutions.

You're welcome dear. Just some suggestions to help you along. It's easy to get into a rut and and then you just go round and round in the same place. Act like you have a job and try to be as productive as you can.

Clang, when was your last date of actual employment?

If prospective employers are seeing a 1-2 year lapse in employment, they're less likely to want to give you a chance.

You'll need to grovel in order to get work, or take something that you feel is clearly 'beneath' you.

However, as long as Mom is willing to house, clothe and feed you, there's no real panic mode setting in.
