The Walking Dead Discussion
Last season was one of my favorites. Fast-paced and a lot of suspense. Negan is such a piece of shit, but a very entertaining character. Jeffrey Dean Morgan really does have the part nailed.

Anyway, the new season started last Sunday. We just watched it OnDemand. I hope Maggie winds up killing that slime-bag Gregory at some point.

Anybody else still watching?

Yep, I'm still watching. Looks like Gabriel will be Negan's new plaything this season.

I'm glad to see Weird Al's music survived the Zombie Apocalypse.

I'm glad to see the Rick and the gang using zombie herding instead of that nutcase Troy on Fear the Walking Dead. (Is anybody watching that? Season 3 just ended.)

It should be interesting to see what goes down between Negan and Gabriel in that confined space. Good versus evil and all.

I'm thinking we're going to learn a lot more about Negan's background and maybe we'll see Gabriel trying to get Negan to find Jesus.

I don't watch Fear the Walking Dead, but my niece watches it.

You should watch FTWD. Its a good prequel show. I'm hoping the eventual series finale ends with Rick waking up in the hospital in Atlanta.

There's even talk about a FTWD/TWD crossover. Rumor is FTWD is going to feature Abraham from TWD.

FTWD is pretty good, got myself caught up on it finally.

Since Morales just showed up again in TWD, having Abraham show up in FTWD isn't such a stretch. His story started in Houston though, which is pretty far from Baja Mexico, where FTWD is right now.

Interesting rumor though!

I like the Abraham character.

Maybe I’ll binge watch FTWD over the holidays.

I watch the news, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Project Runway, and Bill Maher regularly. That’s more tv than I’ve watched in years.

I still haven’t watched ‘Breaking Bad’, which is at the top of my binge-watching list.

BB is pretty good, takes an investment of time (like all binge watching these days).

Interesting part of FTWD is that it's set at the very beginning of the zombie outbreak - so there's the initial period where no one knows what's happening, which is interesting to watch unfold.

Yeah I think its a weak rumor based on some of the FTWD characters saying they were heading out toward there.

Who is Morales? I can't seem to remember who he is ( And I feel ashamed since I've watched TWD from the beginning). Or what he did to Rick or what Rick did to him? I remember Darryl's brother Merle though and Shane. Is he one of Shane's cronies?

Morales was in the group at the department store Rick ends up with after Glen saved him in the second episode. He was in the camp, but when they decided to leave Atlanta he went his own way with his family.

In the season finale a charismatic villain was introduced who very specifically mentioned he was headed to his stronghold in Houston. The ensuing action left the fates of a lot of characters in doubt including his. I'm guessing next year will follow the threads of he and whoever survived the big finish.

PS to those who haven't watched FTWD. It started badly and slowly in the first season but drastically improved after that, and most recently added the original's bossman as show runner. More cohesion, better pacing, more frantic pace of events. Worth a look.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I am secure in my masculinity that Clang's kiss does not threaten me. He's alright.
