Are you rich because of the size of your bank account or because of what you have in your life, meaning friends, family, a job you love, things like that, things you can't put a price on.

The latter...but if we're talking money, I read an article recently that said you need at least 7 million dollars to be considered rich.

Definitely the latter. I don't know what the dollar amount is but I think being "rich" is when you know you'll never have to worry about money. Your retirement is secure etc. it's not how much money you have, it's the absence of stress about money in general. I think.

Both my kids yesterday, at different times out of the blue, said "I love you daddy".

It struck me that I was pretty lucky, and 'rich' so to speak.

So, would I like to have extra $$$ in the bank? Sure. Who wouldn't?

But to me what truly matters is the love of your family and friends.

Well I know he orders off the value menu because it's popular with the kids to get a McDouble and a McChicken and put the chicken on the McDouble and call it a McDank. Fucking idiots, it should be called a McDicken.
