This little girl's dad, a police officer, was killed days before her kindergarten graduation -

Five-year-old Tatum Raetz was surrounded by an incredible show of love and support at her kindergarten graduation on Wednesday. Hundreds of Phoenix police officers showed up to celebrate her accomplishment after the little girl's father, Officer Daryl Raetz, was killed in the line of duty just days before.

James Holmes, told AZFamily.com that the original plan was for just a few cops to attend the graduation. "But the word got out that this was happening and it went viral within the department and there was absolutely no way that you could keep officers who could be here away from here. they came, even with their families," he explained.



The Phoenix Police department tweeted a photo of the incredible turnout:

Parents who are deployed are getting to see their kids graduate by utilizing Skype. Family pix are even being taken with everyone standing around the laptop screen. Hahaha! I think that is so cool.

I was driving down the road today and this stupid dog came running out of the house and just before it hit the road it got yanked back by the rope. The guy I took lunch with freaked out and said "you were gonna hit that dog!" I was doing about 45-50 mph and was not about to go off the road into a tree for a dog.
