When's the last time you saw a phone book? I haven't even thought about one in ages but it's been years since I've had one in my home. I saw one today and it reminded that there is such a thing.
Last week laying on the ground next to a rural mailbox, just sitting there moldering.
It might be time to make them a request rather than a given.
I get them left at my door every year, both here and when I was in Utah.
My husband still puts an ad in the yellow pages because a lot of old people still use it, but I think all the other phonebooks went out of business. When I track the calls most of them come from google.
Some asshole keeps throwing one at the end of my driveway every six months. Haven't kept or looked at one in over a decade at least.
I have an old one from the 70's and sometimes I look up all my long dead relatives.
The phone book used to be great for picking out random people and pranking them. This is the best one of all time.

The are delivered for free (probably a tax item somewhere) every year to my door step.
