Clearly mistitled, you mean. Change it to "Beating The Dead Horse" and we're good. Blowing-kisses
Why is the horse dead?

Was it ever alive?

Democracy is an impossibility in a corrupt, polarized society like ours. All we have is bread and circuses -- nothing more, nothing less. Our government is 100% illegitimate, and has been for at least 100 years. Both parties lie and cheat whenever they think they can get away with it, as do the people who finance them.

Personally, I think Trump has a serious personality disorder and was/is unfit to be president, but I also think that holds true for most of the presidents we've had, including Joe Biden.

That said, when you consider that "our" elected officials have gifted themselves their own special healthcare and retirement programs, I fail to see how anyone in their right mind would be upset that ordinary citizens barged in on their private party in an effort to demand accountability, as that is about the only thing that would gain these cretins' attention.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Trump and Bannon were in on this charade, any more than I'd be surprised to find out that there are aliens among us. Because Reichstag fires are precisely what you'd expect to see in corrupt societies.

Yeah, I remember the noose they had back then also and that someone died then also right? And people inside were afraid for thier lives?

Try again Maggot.

While some people protested outside, others waited in line for tickets to the confirmation hearing, where they stood to disrupt senators' questioning of Kavanaugh, according to Reuters.

nside the Hart Senate Office Building, protesters unfurled banners and even directly confronted Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., according to USA TODAY. Several were taken out of the Dirksen Senate Office Building in plastic cuffs.

While protesters did push past a police barricade in front of the steps of the Supreme Court to pound on its doors, according to NBC News, USA TODAY could find no reference to protesters entering the Supreme Court building.
RC takes the "everything is fucked" route, so don't bother focusing on one thing or brining it up because there is so much corruption, focus on that instead etc etc etc
So Duchess can't bring up anything new about the insurrection-even though Trump continues to bring up the vote count and I can't bring anything up about racisim.

Just wait until the open hearings start after the first of the year. Weeeeeee.  Smiley_emoticons_hurra3

I want you to talk about racism as much as you want. I read what you have to say and I think your posts are thoughtful & informative.
hah That one was easy.
I love my country, my family, not me, has sacrificed for it, there's no place I'd rather be, but she is seriously fucked up.

No, my dear, I take the "context matters" route -- which for libs is "the road less traveled".  hah

You, on the other hand, think bread and circuses = democracy.
Bread & circuses? Ahahahahaha!

You're like the house negro that wonders why the field slaves don't appreciate their "freedom". That's how utterly ridiculous it is to express concern for our "democracy". As Goethe astutely observed appr. 200 years ago: "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."

I'd love to see democracy come to America, but it isn't going to happen as long as the corporate state has anything to say about it.
Nancy Pelosi was asked by Trump if she wanted National Guard on Jan 6th. He offered 20,000. She denied it and being in charge of security decided she would not need it. One reason I was wondering and it doesn't come to me fast as it should was ............OPTICS.

i never really thought about it till now. But if Pelosi did get the National Guard there she would have to admit that she did something Trump suggested.

No wonder she has a hand picked committee.   It was freakin OPTICS!  hah
Chee a dumb female canine.

None of that is true, Maggot. What the fuck are you going to do when the public hearings start and everything you've pushed as true is proven to be lies?  hah
Baby Dick, a staunch, Conservative, traditional republican bringing the receipts. She is putting her country before the party.

What exactly are you disagreeing with today, ma'am?
