The Thomas Moore society can kiss my ass and boof a cactus!
This is authoritarian state bullshit. Neighbors ratting out neighbors, friends ratting out friends, family ratting out family. Fucking hell.

Why not? People need to know where to peacefully protest. hah

The people I get my information from ARE doctors and scientists. Are you going to claim that they're conspiracy theorists because they don't support "the science"?
Really? I went looking for information so I could have an informed argument with you and I found nothing.

I've posted links to scientific studies and every time I do you say something like "I'm not going down that rabbit hole".

Google doesn't list anything that they decide is "misinformation". DuckDuckGo is better, but far from perfect. You must have heard about Dr. Robert Malone, who holds 9 patents related to the development of mRNA. Here's a link to his blog. Scroll down to "What is Scientism". That's a good place to start.

If I call it a rabbit hole that means I actually took the time to go look at what you wanted me to and found it to be farfetched or something of that nature. I don't disregard something you've offered in a rude manner, I do take the time to at least check it out.

I don't recall Dr. Malone's name, but the 9 patents related to mRNA seems familiar to me.

I'll checkout your link.
rothschild, I like arguing with you. I'm just making sure you know that. I like pushing back. I told you I was flawed.

One of the very first things I saw about Dr. Malone is that he is a promoter of misinformation about the safety & efficacy of the vaccines.

Dr. Malone is a regular on FOX when they want to talk about Covid and he associates with Joe Rogan.

He's been reported to the Board of Physicians because of his Covid vaccine misinformation.

He's been banned from social media for misleading and for posting misinformation.

There are some who view Dr. Malone as brilliant and there was a time he asked valid questions about the vaccine, but once he was embraced by the far-right he went bonkers to the point that he now ignores scientific evidence. That's not me saying that, it's his former colleagues.

I'm telling you all this so you can get an idea of why I have the opinion I have.
Have you listened to Joe Rogan's interview with Dr. Malone? There is nothing he says that sounds bonkers. In fact I'd take his word over the CDC's and Fauci's ever changing, sketchy story regarding covid and the vaccine.
Good Lord no I haven't listened to Joe Rogan!  hah
It's Joe Rogan just asking him questions. Like should healthy kids and young adults get the vaccine and why or why not for an example. As I said, none of his answers sound bonkers.

Have you ever heard of Galileo? He was attacked mercilessly for his scientific views, and was only given due recognition long after he had died. Malone talks about this tendency, referencing C.S. Lewis, who I have great admiration for, and Karl Popper. Two great mind of the last millennium.

As for claims re misinformation, you need to cite specific examples and whatever evidence was presented to substantiate them, otherwise it's impossible to address them. But I'll say again that those who support the censorship of opposing viewpoints have no legitimate commitment to scientific methodology, because science cannot be conducted in such an environment. The West use to support the free exchange of thoughts and ideas, which is why we always had a big advantage over communist societies re technological development. Now it no longer does, because science has been privatized. Why do you overlook that blatantly obvious reality, Duchess?
I don't support censorship in any fashion, nor do I feel I overlook the obvious, rothschild.
You disapproved of RC telling anyone that the vaccine causes miscarriage and called it misinformation even though it's information she got from a certified doctor. Wouldn't that be considered censorship?

Yes let's all trust the opinions of  Fear Factor guy. Tin+foil+hat+smiley Maybe I'd trust him more if he was spouting his bullshit while eating boiled bull testicles.
I don't view that as censorship. I didn't prevent rothschild from saying anything. I expressed disagreement.

You do when you don't call out those who censor what they claim is "misinformation". The Disinformation Governance Board is right out of Orwell's 1984. It's the equivalent of the ministry of truth.
A new abortion ban bill has been introduced in the South Carolina senate. It would prohibit anyone from telling a pregnant woman that she can go to another state for an abortion, prohibit anyone from driving her there and prohibit websites from providing information about abortion. People have lost their goddamn minds. WHY IS THIS ANYONE'S BUSINESS? Gawd. Anyone's health issues are not the public's business. I don't see that passing, but you just never know these days.
