On topic: ain't it funny how even with fucking plants we can know about hundreds of thousands of them getting destroyed daily and just kinda shrug, but goddammit if it's one FAMOUS tree... our celebrity worship really has no bottom.
I feel the same way about that old tree being felled in an act of vandalism as I do other old things being destroyed just for the hell of it.
