^ Long-time aide and confidante Huma Abedin with Hillary Clinton.

If Huma looks familiar from somewhere other than Hillary's side, it's because she's also the wife of pervy scandal-maker Anthony Weiner.

Snip:
A federal judge ordered the State Department on Thursday to work with the FBI to get access to the 32,000 emails former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said were personal and that she didn’t return to the government, as the courts get more deeply involved in the Democratic presidential front-runner’s email practices.

One judge is trying to decide how the government is going about determining what classified information is included in Mrs. Clinton’s messages, while another is exploring the email practices of Mrs. Clinton’s top aides, as the State Department deals with a backlog of requests for her communications, which she only recently returned to the administration.

Responding to a judge’s order, the State Department instructed Mrs. Clinton and aides Huma Abedin and Cheryl Mills to save all “federal documents, electronic or otherwise, in her possession or control,” and to assure the government that none of them will be deleted.

Those instructions were sent Aug. 10 — a day before Mrs. Clinton announced through her campaign that she would turn the server she used for email during her time as secretary over to federal investigators, who were already looking into whether classified information was being stored in an insecure manner on the server or a flash drive held by her personal lawyer.

I really hope Biden doesn't decide to run. Two attempts already and so much tragedy in his life. I might end up throwing away my vote in sympathy if he does. Smiley_emoticons_slash

My vote only buys me the right to bitch.
I'm voting for Hillary!

Cause whoever I voted for in the past "never" won! hah
Well, it's about time Hillary started speaking out strongly and proactively about the accusations against her.

She was much more aggressive and seemed to have a fire lit under her yesterday in Iowa. I think she needs to keep that fire burning continuously and look alive. I hope she does.

Clinton maintained that she never used her private account for emails containing classified information. She also offered a fiery defense against Republican attacks that she compromised national security by using a private server.

She said Republican criticism over her email use and her handling of the Benghazi attack in 2012 was rooted in political posturing, not concern over national security.

"It’s not about Benghazi. You know what? It’s not about emails or servers either,” she said. "It’s about politics."

Earlier this week, Clinton turned over her private email server to the Department of Justice. She said Friday she has also offered to answer questions before Congress.

“But here’s what I won’t do: I won’t get down in the mud with them [Republicans]," she said. "I won’t play politics with national security.”

She did say that the rest of the GOP field is just like Donald Trump -- “just without the pizzazz or hair.”

Its not about politics Hillary. General Petraeus did the same thing. Maybe MoveOn.org should run an add.

She speaks the truth. How many millions of dollars and years were spent trying to nail Bill to the cross to no avail. Hahaha! It's all bullshit all the time with some of those Clinton haters in Washington. They'll waste a shit ton more money on more bullshit but it'll be okay because they are trying to sink Hillary, right? Pfft. Go Hillary!
Trump has declared Hillary's campaign to be doomed as a result of the "big league" email server scandal; he says he expects to be running against Joe Biden for President.

Marketing ploy? Wishful thinking? Sincere assessment? Hell if I know.

I remember reading some comments here about how Hillary is too old to run. But I haven't read anyone here contending that Donald Trump is too old to run. Hillary's younger than Trump by two years and women do live longer than men on average...

In fact, it's kinda interesting to me that the candidates attracting the most attention right now are Trump (69), Clinton (67), Sanders (73), and potential candidate Biden (72). Obviously, none of them are too old to travel all over the country and keep tongues wagging.
She said she started an Instagram account...and likes the fact that the posts just disappear on their own after so many hours.

Heh-heh. Hillary made a FUNNY!!!

I liked it. I think not only does she have to address all these accusations but it's quite alright to inject a tiny bit of irreverence in there. People always say she seems too uptight...poke 'em back, Hillary!
I'm saying it again...please don't run, Joe. I don't think you have a chance in hell of getting the nomination and you've done and suffered enough. Just hang with the grandkids and know you're well liked in the political arena (not Presidential but everybody likes Joe).

Sincerely, User
I like Joe because he reminds me of the clowns at the circus that run around after the Elephants are done picking up dung. Laugh, laugh Oh how he makes me smile. Smiley_emoticons_smile

And I think Hillary will not have to do jail time, she will get probation.
The Black Lives Matter activists have made sure their voices and issues are being heard by the public and addressed by 2016 Presidential candidates.

They've interrupted and taken the stage/mic at rallies for Bernie Sanders (himself a civil rights activist) and Jeb Bush. They're pushing for real reform plans and details in several areas, including mass incarceration, the criminal justice system, and systematic racial discrimination.

They weren't able to penetrate Clinton's campaign security at her New Hampshire speech last week, but Clinton did allocate space for them in an overflow room and offered to meet with them separately and have it media-televised. The BLM activists met with her, but didn't want media present. However, the activists did tape the meeting themselves and have released some portions to the media.

Interesting watch/listen.

Do you have an opinion on why that was? Why they didn't want the media there but recorded it themselves?

My opinion is so they can control the messaging, and selectively let you see only what they want you to see.

Yeah. That's what I'm thinking too. It smacks of sneaky to me. I don't like sneaky.

That was essentially my initial thought as well.

They want to control the media release, not be controlled by it.

That may be because they don't want the exchange selectively released by Clinton or the media; or, because the activists want to selectively release it themselves; or a combination of both.

They are being political.

I can't think of a politician or public figure who doesn't want to manage their message and brand in the same way.

You're one of very few fair people I know, you're always the voice of reason. I say that in the nicest possible way.
If you want a female Clinton as President . . . put your money on Chelsea.

After she gives up her $600K Clinton Foundation salary and runs for Congress.
Nepotism is not illegal. It just looks bad.
