Pfft. I don't talk about it because I don't have one single concern about it. It's only serious in your head. hah

Okay, keep your head in the sand.

Pretty sure on my end if the Don was under one FBI investigation after another he wouldn't be getting even a second of my mind or time. I'd be hooked up with the libertarian candidate by now.
Just glad I'm as far along as I am ! Trump to be in Toledo tonight. Idoits stared lining up this AM. Scheduled to start about 7pm and hasn't even left PA yet.
Idiots
Omg, he's encouraging Russia to spy on us. WTF

Can you imagine if Hillary had suggested this? Can you fuckin' imagine that? The GOP are remarkably silent with nothing more than a very basic statement.

Paul Ryan's response - "Russia is a global menace led by a devious thug," "Putin should stay out of this election."

That group of old pricks need to piss or get off the pot. Do your fucking jobs. They can't even be moved to disavow that crazy bastard. This is sickening to me. How can they possibly defend this being better than Hillary. I'm not even going to try to understand that anymore. It's a wasted effort.

I can agree with that post. Also let's not forget that, when it comes to the Libya situation, Hillary carries quite a bit of blame for it. Now I don't know if it was her decision or the administration as a whole, but they could have negotiated when shit hit the fan with Gaddafi's son. Instead, they decided not to get his calls and allow the fuckery now that area has become and the birth of ISIL. Just like in Iraq, our government took the head of the monster and left a void that created even more blood in the area.

..I can't remember where I saw the chart of all the embassy employees who have been killed over last several years......Just as many, if not more, while the Republicans were running the country if you want to break it down by political party. It has happened a lot......but I never heard one individual being blamed except for Hillary and I can't attest to the facts as I wasn't there.

As far as her link to IS, that is really a sore spot with me.......No, I wasn't there either, but she did not start a war in Iraq over false intelligence. Most, if not all, the 911 participants were from Saudi-Arabia....I believe that this was the birth of ISIS....

Mr. Obama had to clean up the mess made by the Bush administration. If you have 401 retirement accounts, mutual funds, stocks, bonds, etc. you are probably a happy camper thanks to the recovery of the recession left by the Republicans. Oh yeah, we still have that mess in Iraq and ISIS to worry about......Hillary is to blame, you say because we didn't negotiate with a Dictator's son.....I think not......I think invading Iraq just put icing on the cake after many years of isolated hijack and other terrorist actions over the years. I talked to two friends (who happen to be Republicans) who were not aware that terrorists attempted to blow up the US World Trade Center in 1993.....we have a history of this in our country whether a Republican or Democrat is at the helm......

There is no question that we need to deal with ISIS but declaring war is not the answer to everything. Did you think of how Trump might effect such a move....He most likely would enact the draft of young men and women to go to battle in the mid-east. It would no longer be a volunteer military IMO......

We have other issues which are important to me and the Democratic party. For example: leaving this planet is better shape than it is now for our children and grandchildren, more emphasis on children's welfare, education, tighter gun controls, more mental health treatment and care made available, bringing back the middle class, quit allowing our Government to be run by and controlled by the very rich .....pass fair and equitable laws which will benefit all citizens, not just a select few....health care for all citizens.....the list goes on and on, but you get my drift.

One last mention about the violence and division currently going on in this country.....this will only get worse under Trump's dictatorship.....and while we have to deal with ISIS, we have to also deal with all the US citizens which have killed so many people in mass shootings over the years.......there is no easy solution to the home grown domestic lone wolf terrorist.....

I agree with just about everything you said and, for the record, there were more attacks on US Embassies during the Reagan / Bush administration than there have been under this administration. When I'm talking to Libya I'm not referring to the Embassy attach but the country as a whole. We took Gaddafi out and allow this clusterfuck to happen. Gaddafi should have been allowed to stay because it kept those crazy fuckers in place. Same with Saddam. It is no secret our "efforts to bring democracy" to these countries has fallen flat and would never work. They are simply not like us and will never be able to live like us.

I've always thought that about Saddam. I understand that we have interests around the world that need to be protected but all that bullshit in regards to Iraq is what has created this whole mess. It's probably much more complicated that what I'm saying but we never should have gone into Iraq.

Correct. We justified the Iraq invasion with non existing WMDs, 911 and extreme abuse of human rights, when in reality 911 was a Saudi deal with Saudi financing and Saudi nationals (Bin Laden and the 911 terrorists were Saudis) and they are just as bad if not worse than Saddam on human rights yet our government has been all cramped up their asses for decades.
We as a country have made a mess of things just about every time we have tried to empire-build, or "spread democracy" or whatever the fuck they want to call it. And that goes across all party lines. Most of the hate that comes out way from overseas is, if not semi-deserved, then at least self-inflicted. I'd be more comfortable if Hilary was less hawkish. But that doesn't take away from her skill set and qualifications, and frankly her brass balls. That broad is tough as nails.
I wonder (not that they mean anything) if Hillarys numbers in the polls jump after the Obama love fest at the DNC. 45846688jerry

Time will tell.

I've heard a lot of people say that candidates usually get a little bounce after their conventions.
Hillary getting a little extra bounce should make Bill very happy lol
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has promised to release more damning emails regarding the Clinton Foundation, and many Democrats are fearing it could lead to an "October surprise" for the Hillary Clinton campaign. Assange has been saying for some time that he has more emails that he will release before Election Day, but in a new interview with RT, he gave some hints at what information those emails might contain. In particular, Assange mentioned the ties between Clinton and Sauda Arabia. "Saudi Arabia is probably the largest single donor to the Clinton Foundation, and you can see Clinton’s arms export policies when she was a secretary of state favoring extensively Saudi Arabia.

This is nothing compared to Trumps tax return right?

I'm not worried about anything regarding the Clinton Foundation.

It's probably some of that smoke & mirrors stuff I see you mention every now & then. 27
hah I'm sure it is.

Trump's tax returns are important regardless of any other issues. There is a reason why he's breaking decades-old candidate protocol and not releasing them, and it's not because he's being audited. We know he's just as able to release his returns under audit or not. Warren Buffet, who's much wealthier and a truly successful businessman, is also under audit. This week, Buffet offered to release his tax returns if Trump would do the same. No response from Trump. Trump's running on his image as a wildly successful business person who knows how to negotiate. His unwillingness to release his tax returns after promising to do so several times is a huge red flag, for me.

I saw Assange interviewed on Bill Maher Friday night. He's a creepy dude, in my opinion. He did say that he's got a lot of material from the email hack of the DNC. If so, it better be some damned good stuff.

In regards to the Clinton Foundation, it's already been heavily audited; the Foundation's records are publicly available. https://www.clintonfoundation.org/about/...-money-go/

Maybe Assange can help get the Trump campaign some traction on the arms for Clinton Foundation donations claims. We already know that 17 of 20 countries who imported more arms from the U.S. in the last several years, including Saudi Arabia, also donated to the Clinton Foundation, and that Clinton emails show her frustration that those arms-importing allies who were supposed to be using them to fight increased terrorism were not doing so to the extent she desired.

It'll be interesting to see if Assange and Trump can credibly link donations to a private charitable foundation with U.S. government arms trade policies and profits.
Anyway, Clinton's up by 8% nationally in the polls following the DNC convention and Trump's recent idiocy.

His comments regarding the Gold Star Khan family, his invitation to Russia to hack Clinton, his repeated and detailed false claims that he watched a non-existent video of ransom exchange for Iran hostages (followed by his admission that he never saw such a video), his refusal to support down ticket Republicans (followed by his hilarious unenthusiastic scripted endorsement of them two days later), etc... is really harming Trump's chances in swing states. He can't win without those key states and he's lost a lot of ground in them over the last two weeks.

Trump loves polls, but he's no longer citing them on the stump. He's now behind Clinton by double digits in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and down by 9 in Michigan. http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2016/08/04...ng-states/

Clinton has also taken the lead with white college educated voters. She's snagged the vast majority of Sanders' supporters, with Johnson and Stein splitting the lion's share of the others.
